Reno Id Procedure (advise Needed)

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I need advice. I have been sourcing for quotation on overhaul renovation for my resale 4rm and some discepency in proceeding.

Base on my experience handling vendors and signing contracts, I thought is should be in the following sequences

- Firstly, I get a budgetary quotation from IDs, from there I shortlisted a few (filtering out those extreme high ones)

- Secondly, I arranged onsite survey, take detail mesurements and get a revised quotation on details

- Thirdly, iron out all details then sign

BUT actual fact, out of 4 ID only 1 ID did what I expected. The rest is Sign contract liao then take detail measurements. =S

I was verbally asking around and most of my friends say is like that, so I'm kind of confuse. If signed first and iron details later, will I faced "infinite" grand total eventually, meaning top up and top up?

Any one care to share? Please....

Thx..
