Looking For Designer (i Have My Own Contractor)

I have a contractor who my family has used on many occassions. The working relationship with him is good and his quality of work is very much to my expectations. However, most of the design functions was left to us and our meagre knowledge. He did suggest one of his contacts who did design work but it was very pedestrian.

Is it possible in singapore to find a designer who can work with my contractor? I have only heard of ppl hiring contractors and doing their own novice designwork by themselves or hiring an ID which does both the design and contracting.
