r067511m 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 Hi,Living in 20yr-old 4rm flat in West. Basically, I want to install the same exercise equipment-- i.e. gymnastic rings-- using the same mounting method as this guy (please click on link for photos):http://www.powerathletesmag.com/wforum/viewtopic.php?t=1231I would like to know if my HDB ceiling can take the weight. Besides, I am not too sure whether hanging something so heavy is allowed by HDB.Lastly, I am not sure about who to call. Will any normal interior design contractor have the skill and equipment to do it?Thanks all!
stardust205 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2011 I installed a swing chair to the ceiling. Bought the hook & bolt myself from a neighbourhood hardware shop and asked my contractor to drill it in for me.My flat is 30yrs-old btw. Shld be quite a simple task for contractor since all they need is an electrical drill. Hi,Living in 20yr-old 4rm flat in West.
