Frontload Washing Machine Continental Vs Korea/Japan

I am sourcing for a front load washing machine and was getting confused with all the different brands.

1. Are Continental brands like Bosch, Electrolux, F&P really much better than those by LG, Mitsubishi or Samsung?

2. Has anyone used LG WD-1487TDS6/5 before? If so, how was the experience?

3. What is the main thing to look out for when choosing a washing machine?

my current LG washing machine lasted 7 yrs.. just die only today.. was also sourcing around for a front load washer..

might get back a LG model
