Did You Check If Your Aircon Compressor Is Screw On Or Just Placed Onto A Aircon Bracket

Recommended Posts

Did you check if your aircon compressor is SCREW on or just PLACED onto a aircon bracket?

As today my ID told me they dont screw the aricon compressor onto the aircon bracket as future it cannot be remove. But i am worried it may drop downstairs and hurt

someone...

So it is true that the aircon compressor is not secure onto the bracket via screws?

Thanks

Wen

For HDB flats with an air con ledge, normally I dun see installers bolting the compressor to the floor. Dun think there is any safety issue on this as all HDB air con ledges are surrounded by railings.

As for older flats with no air con ledge, the compressor is mounted on the aircon rack supplied by the air con installer, and yes the compressor is bolt on the bracket

I live in 10 floor old Hdb flat where air con compressor is mounted on the bracket secured with bolt. Yes the bracket is supported by 4 screws from my bedroom.
