Does It Makes More Sense To ..

Hi.. i chance upon this forum and been reading up.

it is a very good place to find out more about reno for housing.

anyway, i am very new here.

and i have a couple of questions.

my wife wants to have the feel of a condo. so i guess it will going to be a major reno.

after reading many threads.

#1. does it makes more sense for me to find a direct contractor to change all my tiles. then engage a ID to do the reno?

#2. or do the tiles, piping and wiring. then find a ID to do the reno?

#3. look for a ID directly. let go thru him to do the whole reno?

in summary, will it be cheaper if i go to a ID and take the whole "package"?

or do part by part individually?

another problem will be, i dont have an idea how the design of the house will be. except those pic i see in magz. unless those contractor i engaged individually can follow the idea from the magz (which i dont know whether is it possible)
