Hollow Doors Vs Solid Doors For Bedrooms

I cant really decide so I'm curious how did you guys make your decision between Hollow Doors and Solid doors for the bedrooms.

Price difference is a bit like $100+. Around $250 for hollow doors and $350 for solid doors in the bedrooms.

Which one will you get?

i'd go for solid doors for soundproofing reasons.

Soundproofing sounds like a valid reason. any other benefits? does sound proofing justify the add-on cost?

that's the most important consideration.

unless your house dun hv kids, very quiet, no people.

Otherwise you have to prevent the "sound" from inside the room to spread out when you are happy'ing, and also to block all the noises from outside when you are resting.

thanks for the inputs. I just swallowed up the $300 price difference for my 3 doors and went for the solid doors. I got kids who ride their bikes inside the house, probably hollow doors wont last long. LOL
