Customising Wash Basin Cabinets

Dear forummers,

I am engaging an ID to do renovation of my MBR toilet. I'll be hacking away and re-tiling. Existing fittings (showers, mixers...etc) will be re-used. In be installing new WC and wash basin. I would like to seek your advice/quote on cost of getting a customized cabinet shaped to my wash basin to be done.

Basically I need some opinions to judge if it's worth buying a wall mounted wash basin + getting a carpenter to do a cabinet beneath it or just buy a pre-fab wash basin + cabinet set off the stores. For best functionality, I would prefer getting the basin I like and needed then custom-make the cabinet...but if the cost is too high, I'm willing to trade-off for the pre-fab sets.
