How To Organise A Garage Sales At Home And Make It A Success?

hi all... need some advice...

anyone has the experience of doing garage sales from home? over the years i've bought too many items & clothes with many that are still unworn & brand new... recently i did some spring cleaning and are donating many used clothes which are still in good condition...

there are still many unworn brand new clothes, accessories, lightly used shoes, bags, etc, plus some smaller household items. too numerous to bring them all down to flea markets for selling, so thinking of putting up online ads with pics, set aside a weekend or so to sell the items from home...

do you think my idea would work at all? how else should i publicize, does it make sense to advertise a small ad on our local papers too?

anyone cares to give some advice or share experience? btw, i live in a HDB flat...
