Some Air Conditioning Questions

Hi all

Totally new to reno.

Some newbie questions.

1. Inverter vs Non Inverter

- Whats the difference? Heard inverters cool faster, less expensive?

- I normally dont use the air conditioner unless its the warm months (Apr to Sep), even then generally do not use. Which would you recommend?

2. If I buy a system 1 (1 compressor + 1 unit)

- Will I be able to add more units in future?

- Currenty I have 2 units to one compressor on level 2. System is quite old, but still functioning ok and rarely used. Thinking of adding one new compressor + 1 unit to master bed room. And in future, maybe 2 more units downstairs. Is this recommended? (living in HDB masionette)

3. Window unit trade in

- Are there any trade in services available?
