Question On Laying Of Floor Tiles For Toilet

Recommended Posts

Just wondering... Is it possible to lay new floor tiles over existing floor tiles for toilet? Taking note that the flat is more than 10 years, will there be any issues if I were to do that?

Is it a normal practise/a must to remove existing floor tiles before laying new ones?

if more than 10 years, its is quite advisable to hack and lay new tiles as u cannot ensure that the water proofing is as good as 10 years ago.

you dont want to lay nice nice tiles, then water proofing break, u have to rehack all the tiles and redo, right?

Hmm.. Ok. You are right.

I guess hacking is unavoidable.
