Screed Toilet And Kitchen Wall. What The The Finishes Needed?

Hi Guys

I recently had my bathroom and kitchen walls screed. I love the look but am worried about the bathroom walls. I read it screed walls absorbs water and must be finished with a oil based or water based coat.

Does anyone know any contractors or painters who has experience in this?

Please kindly advise.
