Citygas For Hot Water And Cooking

Hello,

Would like to check if anyone has experience installing Citygas into their property.

1. I suppose the Citygas contractor would have a lay a gas pipe into the property... Will there be massive digging from the road into the house, uprooting of existing tiles, earth and tarmac?

2. The gas piping will run into the kitchen as well as the water storage is located... this will involve a fair amounts of piping?

As I type, sounds like using electricity for water heating may be more convenient.
