After the floor tiling has been completed, they have asked us to arrange for 1st appointment for the air con fixture.

During the fixture, to our horror, the air con piping has to run across our MBR toilet (The wall which I did the tiling at one side of the wall.) We tried to ask if there are any other alternatives but there aren’t. The air con guys told me that they have encountered this before in other BTO flats and there aren’t much choices to run the piping. We quickly called for help. As he was nearby, he came over to check out the issue.

After discussion and checking other units how they fixed up the air con, Nic told us that it has to run through the MBR toilet and he will boxed up the air con piping in MBR toilet and piping above MBR door frame.

This are the photos after the air-con fixture.

It took about 6 hours for the air con guys to fix up the piping :good: ...

After the air con fixture, we will need to choose the laminates and paint colour. They pass us 3 brochures to choose the wall paint colours and the cabinet’s laminates. He asked us to choose and we will meet up in a week time to discuss gain. We were overwhelmed by the selection of the laminates. As we are going for Scandi style, we have decided on light wood colour and white laminates. The following is what we have chosen:

He informed us that the 3D layout will be ready in approximately a week time while they proceed to do the painting of the walls...

These are the colours in which we have chosen for our walls:

Living Room & Passageway - White

MBR and Bedroom 2 - Whisper Grey & Creamy White

Bedroom 3 - Cucumber & Apple White

Service Yard - Bluebell White

Before the start of the carpentry works, these are the 3D designs !!!

IMG-20141129-WA0019.jpg

Nic proposed to us to do something out of the norm as the full brick wall is very common. He proposed to do unregular half brick wall with painted white wood in the middle. Cant really see from the 3D drawing... but this is the preview of our unfinished wall...

Morning everyone!

During the installation of the air-con piping, we met the carpenter. We saw him with pen and papers and he started drawing the layout. He is meticulous as he take note of very fine details like the position of the power point etc :paint: .

For the next entire week, the electrician and painter came and do the fix-up of the electrical points and the false ceiling. When we visit our house again on the following weekend, we saw this !

Excited to see the outcome of our cabinets !!
