Overlaying Tiles In Toilet And Kitchen

Recommended Posts

Folks ,

I have got a resale 4 room. Was quoted ridiculously for the hacking of the toilets and Kitchen floor and wall tiles. 6K in all ( not to mentioned the living room )

Had decided to get vinyl flooring for the bedrooms and living rooms to save cost + quite nice and durable.

However for the kitchen - we need to do an overhaul at minimal cost, considering overlay tiles to cut cost .

Hoping to get some inputs on this option to overlay toilet floor tiles + Kitchen Wall tiles

House is 10 years old and on the top floor 23th.

Hi 1.1m

I'm in the process of discussion with my nominated ID regarding my dream home. I have my budget constraint on the renovation yet my ID work within my constraint.

You can get a quotation from the ID regarding to your requirement and budget ya.

Ya hence we didn't proceed with overlaying some of the tiles, it's just too expensive considering the area required.

Thanks.

we will reassess the condition and might just stay put for cost savings

Seriously, no point hacking unless the Resale unit tiles are really old. (if its really only 10 years, its actually quite ok). Don't waste $.

.

I can live with the kitchen by simply hving a stronger chemical wash. moreover, will redo entire kitchen.

For toilets , its a " must " for us to revamp .. yes condition is acceptable thou .. so its much a personal choice
