4 Room Flat, Id Or Contractor

How much is acceptable? 4 room flat someone quote me 25k. Hopefully i can get their list out quote so i can list out here another day, some old bird here can check for me. Very sian. New here.

Bro, depending on what u do... N must break down the list too.. At least reasonable price that will be good enough but not overcharge. A lot of small companies will overcharge bcoz 1 mth they clinch a few deals good enough already so must be careful. Find others to compare!

Thanks to some bros here, finally got a really good deal i think

1) FLOOR WORKS ,

supply & install of 50mm height base with tiles skirting finish for (kitchen cabinet, kitchen fridge, kitchen washing machine and shower kerbs with matching tiles for 2 bathrooms)

2) GLASS WORKS

supply & install of 2 bathroom 10mm clear tempered glass shower screen, 2x 5mm clear mirror.

3) PLUMBING WORKS

supply to do all connection of piping works.

4) CARPENTRY WORKS

kitchen cabinet top and bottom with soild surface and glass backing.

Built in cabinet for 3 bedrooms (laminate colour within range)

5) ELECTRICAL WORKS FOR THE WHOLE UNIT

lighting point

Single power socket

Double power socket

Tel point

Labour to install lights

6) HOUSE GENERAL WORKS

painting of whole house walls/ceillings with ICI pentalite or NIPPON 5000 (5colours + 1white for ceilings).

Whole house acid washing and cleaning.

Debris removal services to be carried out.

Total $18800

theres no breakdown for ur price. so its hard to say.

reasonable or not, we cannot tell.

but so little things u do, i still think its very expensive.

anyway if u feel good, go ahead with it. must be happy thats all. haha.

Thanks for ur reminder, i just called up my comtractor n ask to break down.

Then my contractor agreed to give me this package -5%. Haha, +12months warranty.

its is still like very expensive leh.

from what i see.

theres no breakdown at all for indivdual items.

based on a rough estimation i counted is,

1) FLOOR WORKS - 1000

2) GLASS WORKS - 1000
3) PLUMBING WORKS - 1000
4) CARPENTRY WORKS - 20ft - 2800
soild surface 1600
glass backing 1400 20ft
Built in cabinet for 3 bedrooms (laminate colour within range) 1300 x 3 = 3900

5) ELECTRICAL WORKS FOR THE WHOLE UNIT - 1500
lighting point
Single power socket
Double power socket
Tel point
Labour to install lights
(No subject of nos)

6) painting, cleaning, etc - 1500
bro i compare with my quote, abt $15800, but urs is $18800,
too much difference already. expensive.
definately ur id will have breakdown for u, u can ask judge for urself.
unless u dont mind paying more because of his services.
