shredderman 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2015 Hello guys!I'm gonna renovate my house soon and I have been considering engineered wood for a while. For what I know, the technical aspect is that there are a few layers, a hardwood layer of about 2-5mm, with some sort of plywood as the bottom layer. Price-wise, it is cheaper than solid wood and still allows of at most 2-3 sandings if needed. So what I'm interested to know is the practical aspect. Can anyone with engineered flooring comment on its durability, usage, water resistance, etc.And also what are the shops that carry them? As far as I know, the popular ones are wood&wood and also wood culture.Thank you!
