Wardrobe Facing Toilet - Good Choice Or Will Be Mouldy?

Recommended Posts

Dear readers,

May I ask if you could share your experience/ knowledge as to whether it is advisable to have a built-in wardrobe facing the toilet in the master bedroom?

The idea is to act as a separator between the toilet and the master bedroom. However, am concerned that the humidity and vapour from the toilet might lead to mould and a stench in the wardrobe.

Appreciate your sharing! Thanks!

I've read some bad experiences online that say that their clothes will get 'dampish' if it's open concept wardrobe. I think if the distance between the wardrobe and the toilet is far away enough, and if you keep the toilet door closed, should be ok.

Probably best to put some Hungry Hippo or coal in case!

My parents hv a built in cabinet in the common toilet. 15 years later and they r still going strong. They built a concrete support on the floor.
