Yeyeah Delights/esymeals Dinner Delivery Tingkat Review

Recommended Posts

Guest our-home

We have been catering our family dinners since 2008 and this is the first time we've had an unpleasant experience with a caterer.

YeYeah Delights/Esymeals - Family Meals

The pros:

- The meals are individually packed (ie. bento and soup). So we can have dinner at different times if we are held up at work/school.

- The 10-day trial family meals were decent enough for us to decide to continue catering from YeYeah.

- Once or twice a month, pasta is served instead of rice.

The cons:

- Deliveries are on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Food has to be kept in the fridge till then. The Friday meals tend to be more dry and tough (eg. rice/meat) as they were delivered on Wednesday.

- Quality and quantity of food not consistent. The same dish served in the 1st and 3rd week may taste very different, eg. more salty, meat more dry. The amount of soup in each bowl also differs. The amount of rice was reduced after the 10-day trial period.

- Menu is very limited. After 2 months we got tired of the food.

- Soups are now more oily after they replaced pork ribs with minced meat.

- Wrong amount of food delivered. Twice we did not receive Fridays' dinner.

- Only one person is in-charge of phone calls, orders, invoicing. Zura rarely returned calls and hardly any follow-up to enquiries. Once after we waited for our replacement dinner till 8pm, my husband lost his temper and called her. Now, she sometimes returns my calls.

- Usually invoices are sent in advance so we know that the caterer is going to continue with our dinner delivery. But YeYeah does not do that, so we have to call them again to check/reconfirm with them. They'd forgotten to send us invoices as well - this could be considered a pro for some customers though.

- We provided feedback via phone and email but not much has changed,

We have tried Select, Neo Garden, Kim's Kitchen, among others. We catered from Kim's Kitchen for about 3 years. There is no perfect dinner delivery/tingkat caterer. But to encounter such poor customer service and inconsistency in the food quality/quantity within 3 months is a first for us.
