  1. I am not the DIY type as I think it will be messy and I may end up wasting the materials if I do wrongly, plus no time to do it myself. I installed it through the vendor to play safe. You can contact them at http://www.insectscreensingapore.com/contact/ if interested. Pretty happy with their price and service, the installation works well for me so far, at least now no mosquitoes/house lizards.
  2. Came across this interesting product called the sit stand desk, it is a smart workstation that sits on any table and transform it into a smart sit stand desk. Pretty neat solution and it is designed in Singapore, pretty innovative and neat solution to enable you to stand and sit while working. It can mount 2 LCD/Monitors or place a laptop as well. Check it out.
  3. Just want to share this Insect Screen Specialist who had just installed the insect screen for my 5 room HDB unit at Mountbatten. I installed it on main door gate and all windows. I find the quality very good and the installer friendly, responsive and price is good. Besides keeping mosquitos/insects away, the insect screens are near invisible, removable and washable. Moreover, it Protects against UV light and keep the sun glare away. Check them out!
  4. Hi, what's the name of the project that your unit is in? I can try to get it for you. No guarantees but there is a chance.
  5. Hi Mel! Thanks for your kind and encouraging words. We look forward to putting up more pix too!
  6. Will try to get them in asap (taking over unit only end Jul).
  7. Thanks! It's in Upper Serangoon near the old Bidadari cemetary area
  8. It's a 14-year old apartment... But we're trying our best to bring some life back to the ol' leather and patch up the bootwall. Thanks! we'll need plenty of that!!
  9. Howdy! This is Bigfoot with my wifey Littlefoot. We are embarking on our journey to rework the little shoe that we have just bought and will be staying in for the next few decades of our lives. Our little shoe will be home to the Tinyfoots (our two little girls) and GrammaFoot and GrampaFoot. We would like to invite you to share in our joy (and pain) as we walk on our renovations journey for the next few months. To start off, here is a preliminary 3D view of our shoe that I have worked on with Littlefoot using Google Sketchup! We're also out talking to IDs to get the best quotations and also reading up on the great posts and articles in this site and forum. Wonderful lot of people here and Littlefoot and I are glad that we found this terrific community. Watch this space 'coz the Footsies are gonna get all tootsies soon!
