    Anyway, these 2 ToTo WCs are about 800 each after discount, the taller 1 cost slghtly more... I'm also trying to hunt for better prices at other location, will keep u updated...

    This is actually a good price for a branded WC. Went to shop recommended by ID @ Balestier yesterday for a looksie and unbranded or not popular branded WC with geberit system cost $500+ each. Ex .......

    Let me know if you find a better price for Toto.

    You know what I did? I didn't do base for the fridge. Then I can change whatever size fridge I want in the future without worrying Abt the base.

    Same here, told my contractor that fridge base is irrelevant for me. However am still contrained by size of fridge in the future as along the wall where fridge will be,there are two floor to ceiling units for storage.

    Yep, I agree that the one at iwannagohome do not really have the effect, I'll be visiting some light shops tomorrow, will let u know if I can find something similar :) ....

    group buy is a headache to organise.. ..

    Bro, if you find a relaible light shop with decent prices for downlight, plc, T5 etc, pls let me know.I think I will abandon my plan of getting LEDs from China - super cheap but not sure if reliable and worth the risk.

    What I meant was there are better options than using him.

    He is ridiculously expensive. Audit for condo is almost 6K. 3K if you are a member. To qualify for membership one has to spend some 15-20K there in the first place.

    Read the forum, there are good FSMs out there who don't try to peddle products that costs 10's of thousands.

    hey for your kitchen tile, issit shiny like silver colour? will the uneven edges be sharp for feet?

    Thanks. Looks big only. MBR is tiny compared to our flat at AMK.

    The kitchen floor tile is bronze. Hopefully won't cut into feet :dunno: but generally we tend to wear 'hotel' slippers in the kitchen.

    My tenants have finally moved out. Met Marcus and Jeremy at the unit yesterday to run thru a few things before the reno which begins next Tues.

    Place is disgusting. Dunno how people live in such filth. Am happy that we begin demolishion soon. I had to walk to the clubhouse area to use the loo cos I was afraid to use my own loo :furious:

    3D drawings done but unfortunately I can't post it up yet. Don't want to upset Leslie. Will post reno progress pics though.

    i can really relate to how you feel. is just like the case of deciding to have shark fins in the end for my wedding dinner.

    i said no initially but u cannot imagine how tremendous the pressure was from the elder relatives (especially) and close mates to have them on the wedding table.

    some even threatened (although jokingly) with "ang pow" money since there isnt going to be shark fins.

    aaggghhh

    these days.. i'm a strong believer in the law of attraction. as opposed to against people eating shark fin, or how much the chinese swear by the medical benefits from tiger parts, bear bile gall bladder.. i find more sense to put our energy and focus on loving them, discovering them on nat geo and praise them and letting more people know how magnificent these creatures are. more anti-terrorism campaigns is only going to cause more wars, more anti-drug movement is only going to create more drugs. more anti-shark fishing is only going to cause sharks being obliterated. simply put - "what you resist, persists", "attention flows where energy goes"

    opps, heavy stuff for a monday morning but i read you loud and clear ely, you're a big big animal lover k.

    Empathaize with you. A lot of pressure will be put by the elders for sharks fin as part of the 'face'/ prestiege package.

    We had this issue for our company's D&D last year and we convinced our CEO to take off the menu. Of course a wedding banquet is an entirely different prospect.

    ya lor..spore sometimes the weather is **** hot eh, especially nowadays..so sticky

    Usually I set my aircon to 25~26deg only and will On it at night time.. U be surprise if I told u my mom aircon is set to 16~18deg :jawdrop:

    16-18 deg is not energy efficient leh. Agree though that last fewnite %&%8 hot.

    Tiles selection. Big headache, so many to choose from. Lucky only went to one source - SBH, eventhen I went down 3 times to select / re-select. Lucky ID is patient, SBH staff some less so and others quite accommodating.
