  1. ya. Jason is not the youngest.... just the youngest amongst the 3 we know. Think Uncle Soon say there are 5 of them?
  2. lol. I think to me... can use can already! haha I have a preference for those with higher backs. Some 1-pc ones have very very low backs. Looks funny to me. difficult to say. You must compare quality to quality. I've seen good quality 2pc priced at $300+ and good quality 1pc at $900. 2pc ones...you can get from $70 even... I'm not sure what is the cheapest 1pc though. haha though I think mine's pretty cheap already... and it's from Baron so not too bad in quality I guess. some of the others get their 1pc from asia *** something.. can't rem the shop's name. Quite a few of them get it there I think. I think the quality and pricing is good too?
  3. Wah your house is beautiful! It's combines the cosy feeling with being modern and all.
  4. hahah must justify the price diff a bit ma.
  5. mm I don't think it'll be squeezy inside with the door closed... unless you have a lot of clothing. But it's great to so much space for your wardrobe. You can put some boxes and luggage below too! Lucky you! The wardrobe will be leaning against the partition made?
  6. Agreed! defu has more mock-ups. but they have the same tiles.
  7. haha but it's also quite deep and all.. Only hanging bar? then your folded stuff?
  8. my white tiles really make me vomit blood. Can see all the dirt everything and easily stained.. then will have to rush to clean it off. And thanks to my long hair... it sticks out like a sore thumb all over the house!!! I magic clean my room twice a day and it still looks urgh. I regretted not having laminate in my room. My kitchen tiles are light grey. Can consider? Wah black and silver combi... nice...
  9. balestier one then. cos you can drop by at LSH also.
  10. mmmm finalised the plans with my parents just now... Did a temp drawing for the show cabinet...
  11. Tell you ah. the tiles I love most in my house... are my foyer and kitchen ones. The kitchen ones are matt grey and SUPER EASY to maintain. The stupid off-white ones I have for the rest of the house are such a big headache!
  12. Then ah... if you're thick skinned enough ask if you can have bigger tile samples. Sometimes when they haven't cut they can give you slightly bigger ones. (my dad did that) Then when you bring them home... put water and test if they are slippery... etc... THEN once you have confirmed... label on the tile where it is meant for. So that when the tiles are delivered to your new house you can leave the samples there for the tilers to match.
  13. good la. like mine. they jumped at the chance to get their money faster.
  14. hehehheeh it's been so long since i've come in... I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR PICS!
  15. mm ya. generally more ex. Mine I bought... WC + bowl for $299 at Estilo. Prolly one of the more reasonably priced ones. you guys can see see.
  16. alamak. no la no la I just say what I think. Although what my parents say has some truth to it... One less joint line = one less place to leak from.. but the toilet bowls that we've had... didn't leak from that joint line. hahahaa
  17. That's good! Cliqueing is one of the most impt things!!!
  18. You going to the defu one or the balestier one? there's LSH just a few doors down...
  19. Ahhh where? *lost bimbo clicking around* hahahahahahhaha Young does not equal to better taste you know... AND I'm not young. *SAD* I think it's important to choose something not according to fashion/newest arrivals but choose something according to personal taste. Kan De Shun Yan then ok already. As for the 2nd appt thing.. ask the agent to ask the seller if it's possible to speed it up.
  20. wah then you'll be spoilt for choice.. Hafary has a vast selection.
  21. normal 2 pc WC has a joint line... from the base to the flushing thing (the backing). My parents INSISTED that it's easy for 2pc to leak at that joint line, which we sometimes see in public toilets. 1pc WC don't have that joint line and are more ex. Although I've used 2 pc WC all my life, I gave in to them and bought 2 1-pc WC when we renovated.
