This is 2nd post as 1st post need moderation and not been out for almost a week, wonder wat's wrong. Dun wanna spend too much time now writing just simple one. Need a estimated cost of what we need to do to determine if our budget is enough 1) Redo whole kitchen and 2 bathroom, can overlay bathroom but kitchen i think no chance. 2) 20 ft kitchen cabinet 3) Few more electrical socket as current one not enough perhaps 4,5 more and 1 more tv socket. Not sure if need to redo everything since they redoing kitchen. 4) Change 8 sliding window, and refit whole hourse with new grills 5) Change 3 room door 6) Ned to built a new storeroom in kitchen 7) Laminate/overlay living, dining and 3 rooms. 8) 7ft warbrobe in Master bedroom 9) Some hacking of tiles to convert 1 coner of the small room to a walkin warbdrobe. 10) repaint whole house. My wife intend to do it within 20k but i think it's rather hard even if we do not need any designing but not getting poor quality products.

They do whole house reno as well? I thought they only handle minor one like bathroom, kitchen, didn't knew they can do whole unit. Thanks for the info.

I will need to start reno in dec for my resale 4 room flat. However, we've decided not to go fancy and just simple reno will do. However, after some consideration, there's still quite a bit to be done and i'm afriad the cost will come out too high. I hope to be able to get a est quote of the items we intend to do so that we can cut down, prepare to shelf more for reno if no choice. It's a old flat, around 20 years old 4rm A type 104 sq ft.Sorry can't post image as i'm under moderation. Need list Kitchen 1) To construct a store room in kitchen area. (Old owner tear it down, wth) 2) To remove a partial wall between kitchen and dining and have a sliding door type to partition kitchen and dining. 3) Hacking of existing floor and wall tiles and existing cement for cabinet and washing machine, basically to reno whole kitchen. 4) Having a 12 ft top and bottom kitchen cabinet 5) Change the existing window to 3 pane sliding type Toilets 1) To overlay probably as it's cheaper both MBR and common toilet, change pipes etc. Living /Dining room 1) To have a cabinet for shoe etc. 2) Simple design to cover up cables for my TV. Just need a wooden wall with wallpaper type. Rooms 1)1 of the small room, previous owner tiled it and made some false wall, making it into a small altar, there's steps inside as well. Need to hack those probably, steps, wall tiles and convert it to a sliding wardrobe. 2) A 7 ft wardrobe in MBR 3) Change 3 doors 4) Change 5 sliding window in 2 rooms as previous owner stick some sticker type which is hard to remove. Flooring 1) Hope to have laminate for living room and 3 bedroom while homogenous tiles for dining. Overlay probably as well as it's cheaper. Need more electrical sockets and rewiring some area to change location of the ceiling lightning location. Change all window grills for all windows. Painting whole unit of course. Hope some of the experts here can roughly gauge what might be the cost, assuming some necc items i did not write in details here need to be done like a table top for kitchen cabitnet. And materials in medium range pricing.

I only change 2 bi-fild door with them for my flat. Service, price is pretty good i'd say, no complaints here. Workmanship: So far so good. Service : Friendly, but the male boss face initially looks fierce. lol but turns out he's ok. Price: Looks reasonable

I intend to start my reno in early december with my resale 4-rm flat. How soon should i start looking for contractor/ID base on you guys experience? I hope to start in Dec and able to finish by CNY, not sure if it's able to as i heard this period a lot of workers on leave etc. Anyway, the main thing is how soon to start looking and confirming the deal etc.

Not done reno before but the payment part seems ridiculous

I saw from few post to get reno quotation 1st then go bank, but in the 1st place, i dunno how much i can loan from bank. Mentioned up to 6X but what if the bank decides to only lloan 4X, then quotation all need to cut, then bounce here and there. So logically, i should approach bank 1st to get a figure of my max loan amount before going to reno firm? Any experienced members here?

Just went over to COURTS Tampines beside IKEA and saw now they have such feature wall too, cost range from 999 to 1800. Can choose different wallpaper quite nice. But after some calculation, i find the price not much diff from what my ID quote me for 400 per ft.
