  1. Hi Starjoy, to me, the Panasonic compressor isn't noisy, about the same as other brands, but the fan unit isn't that quiet either. The compressor model is CU-3C20HKH and the fan unit is CS-C9HKZW. There is a quiet mode you can select but what it does is to switch the blower to a lower speed for a period of time, and switching back to a higher speed (slightly more noise) as soon as the room temperature rises above a pre-select value. This cycle repeats itself depending on how fast the room temperature rises. I'm satisfied with this aircon so far, don't really expect it to be super quiet.
  2. It is normal, storage water heater tanks are insulated and will remain hot for a long time if the usage is low.
  3. I'm using Panasonic system 3 non-invertor aircon, installed it last month, from Natural Cool. So far so good, I think if the aircon leaks water, then it is the installer fault, never install properly. The only slight problem I had with the aircon is that I don't know how to set the sleep timer, instruction book never mention, maybe even don't have this function.
  4. Don't worry, it is normal for the bed frame to be slightly larger than the mattress, but not the other way round...
  5. Ok, the items we ordered are delivered yesterday... on time and in good condition... very satisfied with their service...this furniture shop is highly recommended...
  6. We are only actually window shopping for a four poster bed that we like for our new flat and finally found it at this shop, and at the time there is a substantial discount, so even though our flat is far from ready, we book one first... just received a call from them confirming this Sat delivery... fingers crossed, hope everything's fine...
  7. Sorry for the late reply... in the midst of moving house with renovation almost completed... Sure... will let you know when I took delivery of the furniture... I'm not sure how soon they can deliver because when I placed the order for my items, my house is not ready yet and I told them to keep them on hold until now... The first time I placed an order from them is something like Nov last year...
  8. Oh yeah, about the quality... I'm not an expert, but their furniture looks and feels ok...
  9. I have bought a number of things from them, a four poster bed, two bedside tables, one display shelf and a four stool coffee/tea table. To be delivered next Saturday. Service is very good, look for Lucas. What I like about them is that they are not pushy and do not follow you around the shop. They will also let you know at first hand if there are any discount for a particular item. Everytime we visit the place, there seems to be more visitors there than any other shops.
  10. There is one shop along Thomson road opposite United Square, can't remember the name though. Another shop is at Alexandra village, also cannot remember the name. Both shops selling cane stuffs.
  11. Yes, I've bought from The Furniture Club and Unikhome, haven't delivered though. Both are at the IFC. Unikhome is selling Bali style furniture and it's staff are friendly, prices are reasonable. The furniture at TFC are modern, quality is good. Prices may be a bit high for some, but you have to see the difference for yourself. I was served by the sales manager (boss) himself, and gave me a generous discount after closing the deal.
  12. No lah... what the previous posts meant was, must hack away the walls of HDB flat toilet to fit a double jacuzzi spa pool... not dismantle the balcony... I thought of putting the pool in the balcony but upon checking, it is not allowed... sigh... so that idea went out the window (balcony?)...
  13. Hi, I'm also planning to buy the Brandt 2 zone induction hob. May I know where you get it from? Audio house selling it at $1399. Thanks.
  14. Taking a quote from one of my favourite shows,"It is only logical... history has shown that it is far more easier to destroy than to create..."
  15. A double jacuzzi bathtub cost from $1800 to $3600 depending on features, excluding installation. Permit may be required and may even not be allowed if weight is a problem. I have to check with my ID regarding this first.
