  1. hi all i have seen a lot of quotes in this forum and i need some advice from people who are going around the market looking for quote and hopefully can help me I did reno for my whole house in 2009, and now need to do some simple reno 1/ erect up the wall usinghollow block to make it back into a bedroom3 (i hacked to merge with living room currently) 2/ to dismentles wardrobe in masterbedroom (currently WIW) 3/ to dismentle platform in bedroom 2 4/ to build a wardrobe in masterbedroom (maybe like 6ft up to celing) Any misc cost like touch up/patch up false celing or getting a new door, i will do some factoring of the cost by estimation on my own Appreciate if anyone can advise
  2. no problem and thanks for the PM in fact 2k is well within my budget base on seeing the amount of work done for your house Thanks!
  3. Hi Edenstrauss i am looking for someone to erect the wall, which was torn down to merge with living room. Hence, the job scope would probably be: - to supply hollow block - to build up the hollow block, while leaving a gap for the door frame - to plaster the hollow block Am I right on the above? No hacking is required right? I wonder if there is a need for skirting? You were quoted $2k which consist of more works. For my scope, it should be lower...? Appreciate if you could PM me the contacts Thanks Shawn
  4. Hi there my house was renovated 2 years ago I was wondering if there is any recommdation for elecrician keen to do minor electrical works? I would like to do the following - add additional downlight in false ceiling (means have to 'cut' hole in the false ceiling) - remove old lighting and add in downlight - run wiring due to the installation of new downlight in the flase ceiling Just out of curiosity, will the electrician be responsible to patch up the false celing? Or i have to engage plasterer to patch up the openings once they are done with wiring job? Thanks a lot
  5. during past renovation, i hacked away my bedroom wall to maege with my living room.. now I would like to erect back the wall I wonder if that is possible? How will they do it? In concrete form or board form? Thanks for advice
