My agent's comm is non-negotiable. Always say we earn so much profit already , shd be able to afford the comm. I don't mind , coz agents need to earn a living too. but now asking if we can pay on 1st appt. Aiyah ! If can get cheque on 2nd appt wld be good , don't have to use our savings. Still gotta pay for reno deposit

Solid Surface Counter Top

Hi kastlekonfusion, I know exactly what you mean ! Although my problem is not so bad, I too don't really favour solid surface top. But ID's really recomend it, most will say that my current solid surface top is of average quality , hence the problems. But most of my friends & relatives are using solid surface too, and all of them have the same problem. Can't be all of them have average or poor quality solid surface right ? I am considering tiles too, but grouting may be a problem....sigh.. And granite is expensive !! -
Thks so much for all your kind advise. SO much $$$ is involved , coz it's buy & sell, so total commision is 8K++. Or shd I pay 1% commision 1st on 1st appt ? Hmm... Still gotta use my saving for reno...which might cost 30K... I understand HDB will only send me a cheque ard 1mth++, after 2nd appt ?

My bathroom floor is black. I think it's ok to have black gloosy wall tiles , it's rather easy to maintain. But black floor tiles is harder , it will leave white residue on the floor due to shower gel and shampoo use. No matter how I scrub and clean , it will re-appear 2-3 days later, coz we bath at least twice a day , thats like 4 times a day ( me & hubby ) Perhapes grey wld be less obvious ? Hmmmm ...? Anyways, regarding ur parents , at the end of the day , it's your home. You shd be able to do anything you wish. Or maybe limit the all black only to your MBR toilet.
