How your honeymoon? Do you like waking up in the morning and stepping on cold hard ground? Laminate will have a cool, not cold feeling, quite comfortable. Cost wise i think laminate more ex right? if you have the budget go for laminate i will suggest, for look, laminate look good while Homo tiles depend on the design you choose. my 2 cents worth.

My sisters & sister's boyfriend have been drinking phyto fiber for slimming and detox purposes. Seems good with no adverse side effects, slimming down and maintaining figure. My sisters relied on it after heavy meals, sure clear everything next day morning, as what they describe... haha Good for constipation and for those who have problems with clearing bowels. Personally tried few times for the fun of it since I do not have problems clearing my bowel at all. I cleared the toxins in my body for few times. No dehydration/sore feelings like diarrhoea symptoms but maybe a bit "embarrassed", kept running to toilet in office. For those interested, can pm me or email me at jtec14@yahoo.com

You can check reviews from forumers here, seems okay and quite a number of S&C supporters. Ultimately you have to listen to your "POCKET" when making a decision as per elane1311's reply, no one can help you on it.

I managed to get it done, changing of surface top only. Refer to this thread for pics. http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...mp;#entry437256

Inverters Or Non Inverters Sys 3 Aircons?
jtec14 replied to SittingBUll's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Depending on your usage. I bought a non-inverter, 3 ticks which are good enough for cost saving. From the blogspot and internet searches, inverter savings will only comes in if you need to on 3 aircons every night with at least 8 hrs ie maxmise usages. Other than that, the price and maintenance costs are much expensive than a non-inverter. My flat is a 5rm with 3 bedrms. For my case, currently i have a 1yr+ baby and 2nd one on the way. Most likely they will bunk in with my wife and me for another a yr or 2, when they are older till maybe 6-8yrs then both of them will occupy another 1 room so max 2 rooms on aircon at night. For them to occupy a room each will take roughly abt min 10yrs later... so maybe that is the time to change to invertor aircon and I think probably that the max lifetime for an aircon before it started to give problems. Lastly do not buy fujitsu invertor aircon or maybe my folks are unlucky. Bought 1 sys 3, coming to 2yr-2yrs+. After 1 yr, no longer cooling only fan power, technician checked, one component spoilt, dunno what as i was not at home when they came. Changed and thought everything okay but less than 6 mths which is now, not cooling again, weak aircon power... technician came, gas leak, the outdoor compressor had one part freezed/iced. Component will only come on coming wednesday, oh my god, so hot, still got few days to go, hopefully it will solve the problems if not gotta suffers.... Lucky got warranty if not i dunno how much we are going to pay for all that. -
IC, when your reno commencing? Mine ending soon but probably won't move in so fast, maybe 1 mth after of my child.

Hack Away Undermount Sink And Replace With Top Mount?
jtec14 replied to jtec14's topic in Carpentry Works
Hi all, thanks for your inputs. as the kitchen cabinet are in good condition, top can be done with some polishing. So i am thinking to cut costs by change hob, hood, sink only. The sink i am looking at could be of same dimension but with single & deeper wash hole (not too sure what the correct word to use) instead of the original dual wash holes. Just to check, for the new hob, i don't think i can one with the same dimensions as the old exactly.. which one will be more impt to take note of , actual dimensions or cut off size. Pictures as attached -
Hi all, JUst collected my keys for a resales unit. Kitchen cabinets/ solid suface top are still in good conditions thus are keeping it. However the kitchen sink is too small and undermounted. Am thinking is it possible to hack it away and replace with a top mount one since if i am to use back undermount, the whole solid surface will have to go. Dunno if it will damage the cabinet below or not. Also will be changing hob & hood. Can anyone share your comments? Thanks

Hi hello88 Thanks for your advice, finally got the dimensions from the manufacturer. Hi yoongf, Pls correct me if I am wrong, what you mean the most imptly is the dimension of existing hole, cutout and the shape of the hole? for the visual part as long as the dimensions is greater than the cutout dimension will do?
-
Oh my... so stupid of me... why i did not think of that.... Thanks for the advice!

Hi all, Sorry for this kinda of stupid question. Will be collecting keys for my resales flat soon. Think won't be doing much reno for the kitchen since it is in good condition but will be changing hood & hob. As per topic, how do i go about taking measurement for the hob so that I can get a new one that fits? Thanks.
