2-Oct-2009 Wife went up to the unit yesterday night...the granite top is up...but she didn't manage to take a closer look at it...but, we are prepare to accept some thicker joint line compare to solid surface as I am aware granite's restriction. Have to make a trip down in the morning to take a closer look whether it is acceptable.. Granite is my main worry. So I hope things turn up well.

Oh....Frankly speaking, I haven't been looking at Yishun at all before; ...cause I have been a kampong and East side guy all along... So.....went hunting at Tampines...Simei....Lavender...and area around Kallang...but didn't really like any unit. So....one fine day, I was watching doreoman on channel 8 and was flipping the papers...saw this unit; no agent...low floor... I didn't like low floor since I have been living in high floor...and Yishun.....sound alien to me..so I call my wife....and she say go and take a look lor...no harm...so I say okie lor. We went up...the flat wasn't in a good shape...but the view does attract me; and I don't see there is a possibities that they will build a flat or something in front of my living room's view..hmm...so I did a rough estimate of the reno....talk to the owner... We went back...sit down to discuss..as intially, we wanted a 5 room flat....so this EM came along....So I make my offer thru phone...and went down next day to do the OTP with him.

most importantly u like the house...is fate. haha. Who know...u move in....huat ar!

Oh....I went up yesterday..but nothing much was done.. lols... But, Jason did tell me last Saturday he is rushing 1 unit as they are getting married and intend to shift in soon.. so I told him...I am cool about it. Went up yest..but...I realise the side of the MBR mirror....there is a slight crack hairline...so am asking Jason to ask his vendor to change for me. Maybe today there will be some carpentry I think. My wife will be going.

I am quite open for choices... I have slept on different mattress before...even those low end "di lam"..haha... But, all doesn't make a different to me....maichim all kind I also sleep like a pig....But, I am very particular about pillow... Was tempting to buy the tempur pillow. Seahorse is very friendly to the wallet...I haven't tried...but some of my friends told me is good.. So maybe is one of my choices also..

26-Sep-09 Last shot from our study/entertainment room.. We leave around 6p.m. that day after staying there since morning... Too tired to wait for the other taps and some minor carpentry to be done... Hopefully, the rest of the carpentry that we requested would turn out well.
