Normally the glass they used are tempered glass. Rinnai tempered glass hob do give Lifetime warranty. So far has not come across on tempered glass hob shatter due to heat unless the material itself already have impurities while during process if not, tempered glass is quite hard to shatter by itself.

So sorry so long didn't update on the T-blog. Basically my modem already "passed away" so presently using the free mobile broadband that why a bit too slow.
