tks tks... it was amazing how a simple tap on his keyboard and all our personal particulars were there for all to see lol... CPF contribution, CPF balance, pay, company etc ..and just a couple more taps... n Whooooshhh! CPF wipe out.... *heart ache*.... we were actually a little lost and took a few minutes to realize what we had just done after we left the office hahaa Keke thanks! Can't wait to have the keys to our ice berg and start work on the reno... btw guys (and ladies), do you usually select the tiles etc before you sign the contract? 'Cos the various quotations we've received so far do not state the brand of the tiles etc, and we only select the tiles after we've signed the contract righto? Or do you verbally confirm to the ID that you are engaging them, and go select tiles etc, have them state the brands etc on the quotation before you sign?

Thanks for reminding me that I'll have to put up with it for the next...Oh, i dunnoe... 5years minimum? haha But it ain't so bad nowadays, esp when I stay over @ my WTB place over the weekend..the 'fragrant aroma' only comes when the weather is scotching hot. Yes it is today, Wed~ Haha yeap... just past midnight... 845am.. probably the first in line... can't get to bed, and keep going through to make sure I have all the documents needed for the 1st appointment

So how's the reno coming along so far? Hope everything's going well... -
Haha.. ahhh ok, got those checked off my checklist, minus the payslips though 'cos we've applied for HDB grant. Already dropped him an SMS, he had better not get this wrong or there's no way in heaven and **** i'm gonna pay him the 1% comm for doing practically nothing other than showing us the unit..

Wow ya still awake? hee thought the whole island be aslp by now, esp since its the all-dreaded Monday tomorrow... Btw, may i ask, for the 1st appointment we'll only need to bring our ICs, birth certs, parents' ICs and marriage certificates (living close to in-laws grant).... Usually the agents are holding on to the original resale applications forms etc? There shouldn't be any such forms etc on our end right?

I think the kitchen looks fantastic!! and I love the glass cabinet hehee.. though ya probably right that it'll be hard to clean...but it looks very nice~ hee

2 more days to our 1st appointment!!... and I could only manage to take half a day off that day... aRgh!... feeling nervous...don't know what to expect for that day, and particularly worried that our agent will screw up again.... it'll take a complete numskull to not get this right, even by his crappy standards to date...

Yepz we are... 1 reason being the previous owners had actually hacked the wall between the MBR and the 3rd bedroom..but we're gonna put the wall back up, and the kitchen cabinets are quite old (& not so pretty) I think the only area/item that is gonna be left untouched is the door leading to the service balcony haha, and prob our balcony area too... Basically we're like doing an overhaul of the whole house.. kitchens, toilets, living room, all the bedrooms, floor tiles etc..... >45K praying hard that it'll all be worth it 'cos we're saving up every dime we have for the accessories Hoping to work something out at a later stage..gotta build rapport first eh Singapore Pools here I come... If you'd like, I can share with you my other quotes from the other IDs too -

Hob & Hood - Which Brand Should I Buy?
p3nguins replied to joper's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Anyone is using or has heard of Franke? After reading this thread, the more commonly mentioned brands are Rinnai and Fujioh... but curious to hear if anyone (or their friends) has experienced using Franke's products.. Reason for asking is 'cos they are having a promotion (selected range) for Hob, Hood, Sink and tap @ $1099... -
Nice big space!~ Don't see much of these layout around nowadays... very curious to know what ideas/suggestions the ID has came up with for the balcony.. I wished i could have had an open kitchen & an island... Sighz... not meant to be sobz

Haha, always good to know that I'm (you're) not alone hehe.... I wouldn't put it that way "no choice" hee... gotta be 'sensitive' with our choice of words yea *wink wink* Initially I was reluctant, but I managed to convince myself that CCK is a fantastic area for 2 reasons, and 2 reasons only... 1) Floor space is HUGE compared to what I've been living with hee 2) The ever so tasty BBQ chicken wings, rojak @ Keat Hong and the yummy "5 xiang" @ the coffee shop located next to bus interchange (yes, i am a glutton, and my combined "6 packs" is living proof of it! So which part of CCK ya gonna be moving to? Might just end up being neighbours

Hi Prawnee! Finally~ someone else who've also engaged 2Form hehe... They've already given you ya 3D?? So when's your reno gonna start?? Started shopping for your tiles, accessories etc?? Don't suppose you were the couple who were there last...Sun early afternoon? hehe.. We're still waiting for ours... Ray's been keeping us in suspense the past week, occasionally dropping us 1,2 update sms, saying he's made some changes to the design etc... 'sia' us only... grrrrr -
Was rummaging through our pile of past quotations, brochures etc...and came across these 2 sketches which I had been searching high and low for the past week... Just a rough sketch which Ray did on the spot for us while we were going through some ideas for the kitchen and entrance to our igloo home... Main entrance view - right side would be the shoe / storage cabinets, behind that will be our "living & TV area" - up front is the original living area, which is likely to be converted into a 'relaxation' sort of area, but we're still brainstorming on that as it is a pretty big area - left side will be the original study room / current and future dinning area Kitchen view
