  2. My dear forummers! thanks for previous round of voting...now for the dining area (which is the backing of the shoe cabinet at the foyer) and bomb shelter's feature wall cum tic tac door.... My own design (but 3D by ID of cos..hehe) Option A But the white in-out board is expensive...$200+ per piece and need 6 piece........need to top-up that's why ask ID to come out with another design which i dun need to top up. Option B
  3. Okies! thank you very much! ever since i know that using laminates will result in joint lines, everywhere i go, i keep looking at the joint lines of those custom-made furniture in shopping centres...and it kinda irks me...so also dunno wat to do for my tv console which i wanna white in colour too... but i found this magic ink pen in Home Fix DIY which is like a marker and use for touching up...cars!! it comes in different colours...dunno if it will work well on the joint lines anot.
  4. i think so too...need to convince the wife, cos she din see the actual tiles as i went to select myself....
  5. thank you for voting. hehe...stay tune for more voting on Shoe cabinet and Dining area
  6. hehe...1 is too dark...so 4 is a highly likely the choice.
  7. yeah, I like Option 4 too, i chose the tiles from Hiap Keong (beside Hafary). caught my eye when i first saw it. It looks like wallpaper....but its not of cos...quite interesting.
  8. hehe....cant be as indecisive as me...tats why the existence of this poll..haha
  9. tat was the frst design that we got from ID. we like it but found that it was too dark especially for common toilet since most visitor will go common esp the older folks...too dark will kena nag. So we went back to 3 tiles shop in balestier and SBH in toh guan to look for tiles that are brighter or less dark in colour.... anyway, just came back from last inspection and realise my common bathroom is so freaking small! its like 1/3 the size of wat u see in the 3Ds....hahah!
  10. the pattern that i want comes in smaller size...do u have the name of the factory? can PM me? or any website...?
  11. just came back after last inspection...hehe...my wife seems quite on abt it...can we see some of ur past works ?
  12. MDF board is expensive man...I also wanted MDF board for my dining area as one of the design nice...but its freaking ex...
  13. Please vote for the common toilet! Option1 Option2 Option3 Option4
  14. just consulted wifey and she likes paint rather than wallpaper....hehe...and she say u can take any number of days u need. cos the room is empty until the baby arrives.
  15. newnyew! check out the price...its $1495... including instalation....for my wall which is 3.9m long and standard height (8ft). i think u will charge more right??? ya, full length and height....
  16. hehe..will do...gonna check out all the cataloues in fact....its gonna be a long and arduos process....head-splitting haha lucky my ID is very patient....hehe..
  17. hmm, dunno the exact price, but if i remembered correctly , it is $1900+. there is a website...i try to find
  18. i think it is not because of poor hand drawing. In fact i think the drawing is very good considered that it's hand drawn! yours included dimensions and written details tats why more messy. but look beyond tat, and it is very good. u can use my 3d drawing to show ur contractor to further elaborate/illustrate wat u want or enhance to ur liking since its quite similar. and maybe mine more symmetrical as my ID knows i quite old-fashioned kind, like symmetrical design. but urs is asymemetrical. tats why give feeling tat it is messy. but i am sure it will be. My second draft is not like tat actually. the centre portion is full ht and juts out with cove light on both sides and tinted mirrors on both side..
  19. haha...hopefully we dun have common frens....anyway, once we choose the laminates, all will be different... anyway, even if i say no, haha, nothing can stop u And... LAST INSPECTION tonight!!! hehe Tml Collect Keys! woohoo!
  20. I quite like tat you have display shelvings at the feature wall. I have also asked the ID to incorporate it in for me to see but my wife says it contradicts my requirement of sleek and clean lines. anyway, i think the display shelving shld be a little bit longer with different lengths OR maybe add one more on the other side, such that there is 2 on left and 1 on right to compliment the assymetrical look of the feature wall. its look a bit cluttered on the left and empty on right. and the tv is not wall mounted? What is the beige colour area? paint or wall paper?
  21. hehe paiseh...really din pass by to get a photo for u... and u mean the lightings like downlights or normal ceiling lights there are reasonable? if so, i gonna go down to see again. Din really compare prices for downlights or light tubes the other time round, only went hunting for that ONE light for the dining area. haha
  22. yeah, my wife likes the tv feature wall too. but this is version one. There is another version which she likes even better; the 2 tinted mirrors are at the side instead of top and bottom. But ID haven send me the 3Ds. yeah, we found the shoe cabinet to be really boring after a while...
