  1. Had some astronomical quotations but went with the ID we felt gave us a fair price. Checked your t-blog, and it's lower than what you were quoted (>50k).

What I'm obsessed about finding out is those LED sensor illuminated mirrors! Where to find!

    MilanoCloseUp.jpg

you can find them in IMM

think the shop name is Excel Asia

i am not comfortable with this shop though

EDIT: oops.. saw that you already bought

  2. Those have rain shower using city gas, any comments?? i need to decide whether to use storage or city gas. :)

i am using rain shower with CityGas

    so far so good

i did not set water pressure to the max (midpoint is good enough for me since most times only 1 water point is in use)

i also did not set water temperature to the max (midpoint is already very hot, i have no idea how anyone can withstand max)

i have never used a storage tank previously so note that my point of view has no relativity

    the points to consider:

there will be inevitable water wastage since the heater works on a "when needed basis"

so the flame is only ignited upon turning the mixer on

in most instances, the first half bucket will be cold water so if you have a habit of rinsing clothes as you bathe, this water can be put to good use

the flame can be extinguished sometimes

i do not know the exact cause but suspect it is due to gusts of wind flowing into my service yard

you will know when the water suddenly turns cold; then you just turn the knob off then on again to re-ignite the flame

  3. thanks.... i will go see kallang leisure park.

you can also try Sia Huat or Tott or Howard Storage World

Song Cho carries mostly stainless steel and requires drilling but the quality is good

I think stainless steel has different grades and Song Cho is quite reliable

Important if it is to be used in kitchen since frequent exposure to water and condiments can cause chemical reactions

  4. hehe, shook! can laze ard whole day.

can actually form a "L" - shape if more visitors come. tried that night for the mini housewarming, can still fit a mahjong table after forming the "L" :D

the whole series from Cellini for $29** forgot the last 2 digits :D

    include :

    2 piece Sofa (200cm X 80CM)

    rollable coffee table (50cm X 50CM)

King Bedframe (charmaine : name of frame)

King Mattress (Nightingale pocketed w/ latex top)

    bean bag

+ $XX for carrying mattress using stairs, lift cannot fit zzz

they charge $10 per floor. so those stay high floor and buying King mattress do take note

    that's strange

    i bought king size too

from dunlopillo and it was able to arrive by lift

  5. Day unknown.. (completed):

    been without internet for days...

when Starhub offered to "transfer my service" for me for free, i thought they only meant cable TV

    that was my original request

but now, both cable TV and internet services are transferred

despite setting up the modems and all, i am unable to surf the internet at my new place although laptop shows i am connected via WLAN and signal strength is excellent... :dunno:

think will just quickly post some pictures i have..

house is in a mess though..

  6. ya... back to square one... too headache... i can research all day and still its the same conclusion, both sides also pros and cons. some people say its ok, some people say nope. i think i'll leave it up to my husband to decide lah. either way i'll try to hide it. should not be too bad. my friend concealed her storage tank in a cabinet in the kitchen, i think its nice... those of you with resale should do that. i think if it's really obviously exposed then will be v ugly... actually funny hor, how come these foreign manufacturers dun design nicer heaters... something that maybe looks like a cabinet or something futuristic and cool... maybe those europeans dun mind... after all their houses can be 100-200 years old... ours is only max 40 yrs old...

i'm not having rainshower... dunno how to appreciate rain shower... hahaha... but i know everyone loves it. i like my shower at an angle tho :)

have you bought your storage tank?

i thought over this a long time too

if you have not and dun mind waiting a day or two, i will try to post photos of the piping for my CityGas

Gas pipes already installed, plumber will finish up water pipes in a day or two

by the way, i have also bought rain shower set despite reading that it is not compatible with CityGas

according to Hoe Kee, it can be done as long as water pipe diameter is thick enough.. so i am taking my chances

  7. Hi guys need your opinion.. what do you think is nice for bay window windows? full length day n night curtains or just long enough to cover the windows ?

erm.. i dun think you can do full length right?

the curtains will not end near the ground level right?

not to mention you have sizeable cloth savings if you do just window length

you may want to consider blinds also

  9. Hi - can you post pictures of the door you have ordered from Yon Tat? Is that 835$ for 3 doors or is it per door? Sorry - very blur about this.

    Thanks

    Maximus

    Hi,

It's for 3 doors inclusive of door hinges, door stopper and installation

Can't show photos yet cos installation only on 11 Jan

If you need, better order early cos their calendar is very very packed

I ordered 3 weeks back and coming Tue is earliest date available
