We had the chicken wings on Monday! At about 2pm, the queue was so long that it extended out to the drinks area. Yes, Singaporeans are a hungry lot! I agree that most of the folks at the Ikea Cafe are there for the food, rather than the furniture!
-
Sure Elane, can come over later in the evening. PM us your mobile so we can text you when our place's cleared up and presentable for visitors!
-
Hahaha... yes, high maintenance sofa! Thanks for the invitation, will join soon.
-
Thanks nirvana! It was indeed a good buy. From what I know, the warehouse sale started on 29-Aug and it ended last Friday. Not sure if they extended it though... Maybe you can try find the number and call and check if it's still on. Jackson Design Hub Level 1 29 Tai Seng Street Singapore 534120

Haha maybe you can try that. However I did emailed them recently regarding a sofa cover and they called me back the very next morning. Was quite impressed by their response. Pinklady which part of Sengkang you from?

Coffee_o, nowadays certain items at Ikea are very popular and they do run out fast. Don't be lazy and miss what you wanna get ah.
-
Thanks newnyew! However, still lots more things to unpack and will surely take a while more for us to really settle down. Red version? I only saw the black one at Tampines Ikea. However when we went there yesterday, it was totally sold out! Didn't realise it would be this popular. I think some stocks are only available at either outlet only. We also wanted to buy some shelves from the Besta series but found it was too big to be carried by our own hence KIV it for a while.
-
Huh?? Your hubby did? Oops we did saw some folks at your place but we didn't noticed much as we were busy with the moving and unpacking etc. Hehee, no time to take photos yet. So busy with the unpacking and cleaning for the long weekend that we are exhausted... Haha but I'll try to snap some later tonight... seriously!
-
Haha, will post more photos next time. The door doesn't comes with any handles. There's an aluminium frame around the mirror glass which acts as a support and we use it to slide the door.
-
Hmmm, I would suggest you to just visit them with your flat layout plan and get a quotation. No obligations anyway.
-
Got it from Cellini. Do check out their website at www. cellini.com.sg. We bought it as part of a package.
-
No that's not the name. I posted the address just a few posts above. It's at Tai Seng Street and it's supposed to end tomorrow. Ours is only $45.
-
Got! I think it's a new design cos previously didn't see it too. Too bad lah, just like that sales guy who told my wife "ni lai chi le"... Moving in this weekend!
-
讨厌!Haha! We got this one is considered medium size at 150cm long. Would love a bigger one but no size too. Also bought a few other small mats. Got our clock from Ikea. Budget buy, haha!

That warehouse is a real warehouse sale! Ends this Friday 18-Sep! It's at Jackson Design Hub Level 1, 29 Tai Seng Street S(534120). Go there before it's gone!!! TV License no hurry lah. No TV yet there. Will apply later. Why would I be so zealous to pay?
-
Haha thanks thanks! Housewarming too early (too tired with all the reno and moving) to plan at this time but would sure wanna get to know all of you neighbours of Fernvale area!
-
Just some of the budget buys we got for our new home... Dining Light Simple Black Wall Clock (covers the ugly bomb shelter metal plate totally!) Ceiling Fan in Living Room (against our red feature wall) Silver-grey Colour Rug to go with our colour theme

If you need contact for a granite top supplier, do PM me.

Their workmanship is really good. First time feel and touch their cabinets, we were so impressed. Just so happy that they had a promotion that time and it was a colour that we liked as well. I think as long as you take good care of your current kitchen, it should be quite lasting.
-
Haha, thanks Rasp. I just hope we don't get any surprise when we start hanging our clothes and putting stuff inside! The door is a bronze colour tinted mirror sliding door. Actually with the mirror outside, it's not very useful but when my wife saw the tinted mirror, she loved it so much that we must have it, since it's the same cost anyway for us. We also considered the pole system that you are using but didn't do it as our contractor wasn't able to due to the closet being built against a false (partition) wall.
-
Yup, the maroon and grey colours were on promotion that time. It costs $4k+ as we only did a L-shaped kitchen as we hacked down the wall adjacent to the living room, so there were less carpentry works. Also that price didn't include the granite top that would have costs almost $2k if we got it from them. Think your $8k+ quotation includes the granite or solid top and your total cabinet length is longer right?
-
Oh, the orange colour appears to match very well with the white shoe cabinet. What colours will your master bedroom be then?
-
Hi Rasp, your wardrobe is looking good and big! I would love to have one so big but too bad mine's L-shaped and hence smaller.
-
Oh yah, quiet for about a week... She must be very busy these few days!
-
It's all coming out nicely for you, Elane! I like the glossy laminates modern theme look. And hey you've got a bright orange wall at the living room! We're all fans of bold colours yah?
