Same same. I bought a 2-in-1 w/m. Use the dryer when there is absolutely no Sun. Clothes come out crisp and dry. However, I understand 2-in-1 are not very lasting. Will let you know if this is true in due time. =P

Hi. Anyone of you got your contractor to make a shelf in the lobang under the window for BR1 & 2? Other than those who got it for free, how much did your contractor charge you for it? Am thinking of doing it.

Ditto. I don't understand a thing about bandwidth. But from my own experience in another part of TPY, Singnet is alot faster than Starhub. My package with Starhub was more expensive some more. My FH at Tiong Bahru had the same experience. And so I continued with Singnet at blk 79 without giving it much thought.

hee hee hee. What about airing them as much as possible? Have you tried charcoal? They are supposed to be good absorbents. My mum places a cup of tea leaves in the cupboard for plates and that cupboard gives out a nice tea leaves smell whenever we open it.

Mine's a 42" LCD. Sofa's against one wall and the TV against the opposite wall. Actually, if you watch normal TV programmes with adjusted ratio, it's as good as watching a 37" screen through a 42" TV. Ultimately, it's up to the individual's preference.

My ID loaned me a key lock. And I bought a number lock on my own. So, I have 2 locks in total. The number code is changed periodically, esp after every milestone eg, after screeding etc. Actually, I am still using the number lock, despite having installed the Castle lock. heh. Sorry to hear about your bad experience, sherjcw. I hope it can be resolved soon. Reno is indeed a heng-sway thing. Bad products / aftersales service can happen to anyone. Even if they are purchased from highly-recommended shops with supposed good reputation. However, for Aircons & Electrical wiring & Lights, I somewhat agree with tension_z. If you are a sotong-ball (like me), you may wish to opt to pay a little premium (definition of "little" may vary with different individuals) to get them through your ID as this will offer you some recourse if things go wrong. For myself, the Aircon & Lights were cheaper through my ID's recommendation. But the electrical wiring is expensive.

A less pretty alternative is to box up the storage heater + the pipes in the kitchen. My floorplan (which is different from Liana's) is such that the leaving the Storage heater in the kitchen is the lesser of the 2 evils. Kamsiah! about to throw liao. Thanks for the info, Dracula.
