Hi all, My turn to contribute my fair share. I've engaged Senz for my place and shifted in on 28th May 2011. It was a rush job. But I didn't do much. The following is the scope: - Fully hack and reno 2 toilets/bathrooms; - Carpentry work for TV console, kitchen cabinet, deck(4" high); - Painting whole house; - Polish flooring(marble and parquet); - Vanish doors; - Shower screen x 2; - Plumbing work(self-supply toiletries); - Change all switches and add/shift a few electric points(below 5); After staying for 5 months, the following was observed: - The plumbing work has some slight leakage. I solved it by silicon and re-tightening the fittings. I did not call Senz as it's just small thing; - The toilet bowl leak. I fixed that as well; - The deck has some "sinking". Contacted Senz and he given me the contact of the deck contractor to coordinate date and time. Came 3 times but still not perfect. Even "MIA" at times. Didn't pursue further. Overall: Senz is responsible and helpful in whichever way he can. I still recommend him as he is able to listen and do his very best to comply.

Hi all, I've called a few electrician today. Very siong. The reply is quite standard as follows: - Must tell them exact how many points, which type of switch, how far is the point away from the equipment(light); - Cannot do while renovating as they do not like to work with renovators; - 1 of them even ask me how big is my place, how many room... don't know for what...; - Some do switch but don't install ceiling fan; I'm shortlisting which electrician to use, hence need basic information like the cost of SCV point, power point(twin), light switches(with or without supply).... Gurus here please advise how should I go about. Maybe its my mistake.

Hi all, Just to share some info from a lighting house at Geylang side. The boss told us, even though they are selling KDK, they do not recommend as there's no after sales service AT ALL. the service center line is forever cannot hear life human answering. So they advise their customer to go for other brands like Fanco, Elmark, Crestar...... just not KDK.....

I believe mine is a small scale reno compare to most people here. Desire renovation as below: - Removing/hack bath tub and basin. Replace basin; - Replace maid's toilet's basin; - Re-surfacing all built-in cabinet's famica. 3 bedrooms and kitchen cabinet; - Painting for whole unit(whole unit is 3 bedrooms, 3 toilets, total 1300sqft); - Polishing all rooms parquet and living room's marble flooring. - Fix a new window at the back yard. - Change all lighting from warm light to white light So far, I can see is only such small job like this.
