Hi, Today is the 2nd-reno day: Started cabling works.....relocation/additional of powerpoint/SVC/DATA-Point/Switches...etc.. Changed a new Dust-bin....very the shinning right ???...uhmmm....it's not blue color... ..hhahahaha Next waiting for the cornices & painting to start on 2 & 3/Nov.... Last major item will be the modification for kitchen cabinates.... ....very anxious to look see how my fridge fiix-in.... Cheers!

Items bought: Samsung washing machine : WA10U3 , 8.5kg >> $299 at COURTS Tecno , Gas Hob : Mini3 >>> $376 at Courts Uno 7,. multifunction Oven >>> $638 Hhahhaa....now garuanty got makan lioew.... ...got big fridge, got new cooker hob, got new oven... ...wifey no excuses not cooking..... Cheers!

Luckily, the condition of the parque still original...... ...very good conditions.....have specially told the contractor to remove platform carefully ....not to damaged/scratch the parque. ......so dont even need to spend $$$ for polishing.... Cheers!

Hi, Updates on my starting of reno day-1 1st Reno started on 28/nov/09......contractors removing the built-up platform at the MBR. Needed to remove this patform to make way for my current teak-wood bed-frame......... [ these 3 man took half-hr to remove it] Cheers!

Thanks for all your comments and advise to my fridge problem....... .........it's already SOLVED & SETTLED NOW !!! After discussion with my carpenter....he suggested below modification only($300)...hhahahha saves $$$ .... .no need to buy new fridge($1k++). [ a scatch on how to modify ] The cabinate modification takes 1.5days, I hv request him to complete it by 10Dec'09. I shall be posting all the pics of my house next......stay tuned !!!! Cheers!

Hi ann, Yes, thanks for the tips to get a tall tall fridge, so it's more simpler to hack-off the top cabinate.....great idea! Ya lor....lucky luck me...wifey can cook cook so that I can eat eat....so die die must get a more freezer space for her(actually myself)...if not..... ..chiat ka ki lieow...ahahaha Do you or anyone here have any recomendation for "tall tall fridge" ??? pls recomend leh.....for the sake of my wifey to cook & cook.... Hey dear forumers, Good news good news....! I have gotten the keys to my new resale house ! Even though the completion date suppose to be on 1stDec'09, the owner is so kind that they personally send the keys to me this evening, knowing that I need more time before shifting in on mid-Dec'09!...... ...kudos to them.....actually also that they have moved-in to their "6th Ave" condo... ...real envy them! I hv therefore made tommorow's appointments with my contractor to review how to modify the kitchen cabinate to accodomate my current fridge....but no guaranty..... .......maybe chances to modify are very slim.......lets see how lor.....wish me good luck huh ! ya .....pain.....especially hacking granite floor is no joke....very much tougher than hacking normal tiles....make sure you buy them some "red-bull" ...hahahhaa Cheers!
