yay.. a couple of my chairs arrived from LUSH plus the fridge from parisilk.. way overdue... time for some pics.. my new study chairs (now jz waiting for the lounge chair which takes another month i think..) my long awaited fridge (waited abt 4mths cos they didnt hv stock!!) but they gv us a replacement fridge to use..

haha.. my hubby n i are fans of a lot of things.... which we cant afford.. another place we are a big fan of is boconcept.. u cud try furnitures over at OM in liang court. can bargain with them. i got my fabric L-shape sofa from them for 1K, retail price was 2k plus but cos the color we wanted, they dun do anymore so they sold us the display set.. got dining table n bed frame from them too. after sales svc quite good too cos discovered some scratches on the table, they sent new one (twice!)..

LOLX... i actually burst out laughing on this post.. we went SPACE as well and eyes popped out at the prices too.. haha.. but the wardrobe by poliform is really niceee... anyways, SPACE is actually owned by harvey norman's boss. oh and welcome to the east side !! have a smooth reno ahead.

budget constraints initially so tot jz do it later.. but now without the cabinet cant unpack hubby's collections (which is taking up space everywhere !! ), so have to have it done now..

bought the BESTA storage system n a couple of doors from ikea to use as my shoe cabinet recently.. hubby and i tried to fix it but the doors just will not align, so called up ikea helpline and they told me they will send me their carpenter to see wats was wrong. so carpenter came over a few days later, fix the problem (we apparently didnt screw in hinge the correct way) for free.. didnt realise ikea provide free carpenter svc if u r hvg probs fixing up the stuff urself.. just wanted to share..

hey hey.. ya ur layout pretty similar to mine.. im also using the study(room 5) as a gym room.. still in process though cos gym equipments are so exp !! interesting final layout u have... but agree wif SGK that reconstructing another room in the original living room area is a bit of a waste.. plus u will lose the natural light into the house... good luck in ur reno process....
