  1. hi Jamieogh, I'm empathise with u. I had 2 frens who did cement-screed, one did for his whole living, dining & kitchen area (industrial look), the other one cement-screed his bathroom & balcony area. The 1st one had same problems as you, in fact before even the contractor handed back to him, there were already some cracks, so he made the guy re-do the whole thing! Of course contractor not happy..but can't help it. So after hand-over, within 2 months cracks appeared over a few areas. He made the contractor came back to re-do and pay for his hotel stay. The 2nd fren didnt have this problem. When we chat with his contractor, he said its the level of water in the mixture as well as whether they had properly let the cement dried up in earlier layer. So if contractor rushed and the cement not dried properly, so when it dries up, the cracks appear due to the tension. Hope this help u to understand why. ;-)
  2. Wow! SuperSimon, your Calypso is very nice and matching the coffee table! :-) Very aesthetic. Where did u get such a nice table? Is it expensive? ;-) Can I ask you, did u find it warm after sitting on the fabric over a prolonged period of time? Thanks... ;-)

================================================ Hi, did u manage to get the 1998 package? May I know what does it consist of? My fren told me they have a promo for the 2998 package now...so wondering what's the difference? I like the Calypso...heard they had a sale last weekend but its the fabric version and only black colour for 998 or something like that... I'm jus worried that the fabric will be hot once we sit on it for too long (e.g. when we watch movies, etc.). Bro, any comments on the macro suede fabric? Also, do u know how much is the matching coffee table? ;-) And how much is the Ottoman? Thanks all for being patience with newbie... ;-)
