  1. Hello Gareth, I have no idea what CNM is. Would you mind explaining it, please?
  2. Oil removes sticky stuff. Any oil that is convenient and available in your home. Cooking oil is good and always available.
  3. Crikes!! I'm amazed there's so much heat - thankfully of low intensity - going round and round about washing machines. My LG 14331 is about 6 months old, have used it for heavy washes, quick washes, drying, short spin, all sorts of options and it has worked just fine. Noise? Barely heard it running. Anyway, who has time to hang around the washing machine? Btw, I've just recce'd washing machines on request of a family member and guess what? LG's the recommendation of the guy who incidentally isn't an LG promoter. There's now a 9kg front loader besides other models. Also would like to put in my penny's worth of thought on Miele. Every country has it's own 'hero' brand. It seems to be Miele here though I don't know why. Just like buying a notebook, whatever you have decided on, don't look back and say "I should have...(bought something else!)" Good luck.
  4. Looking for best water filter pitcher. Some say Brita, some Pur, so many choices. Which is the best that you have used?
  5. What can be done about controls that don't work after less than 1 year? Can it be due to underuse? Do the $12 controls work?
  6. electric all metal kettle. none at tangs on day i was there. stove type is too risky, might forget about it.
  7. I'm looking for a 1.7L kettle without any plastic part inside. And a flask to put hot water in, also only metal without plastic spout. Looked at most shops in the city, BD, HN, dept stores, none has all metal. Does it exist in any brand?
  8. thanks. what about gaggenau?
  9. thanks for the tip. I checked out dyson. even the promo model is very expensive. the pet hair attachment looks like it helps brush animal fur out of carpet and the suction cleans it up. I would think that any vacuum cleaner with strong enough suction will do the job. if pet fur gets in too deep, brush it out before using the vacuum cleaner might work as well. :-)
  10. Which OS software are you using, original or ?
  11. Hi there. Logitec is globally recognized brand, acceptable as mid high level for PC speakers, pleasant and not exaggerated sound.
  12. I am wondering how much suction power to vacuum clean a carpet with 2 cats in the apartment.
  13. Not in a hurry to buy one. But here's some interesting development going on at the Singapore Polytechnic though it doesn't say when the invention will be put into a dish washing machine. It appeared on tv news a few days ago. Students have developed a technique for washing dishes using small air bubbles that move about in the water thereby removing dirt, unlike the conventional use of water sprays. Does any reader have more info on this?
