paint, tiles, whatever things alsp they(contractor) earn money. so that's why i cannot imagine they still stingy about using better quality stuff at the risk of negative feedbacks. speaking of blum, carpentry was already out by the time i went to buy the blum hinges. so i just ask how many hinges do i need before i buy so will not overshot. this typical lazy and irresponsible contractor just anyhow say a quantity then i go buy. in the end overshot by dozenz. somemore got 1 whole pack of 20pc haven use................... i cannot keep any more spare tiles liao cos i realise we are going to run out of storage space soon...

wah what a waste. how can open so many cans at a same time? better you keep a small can and throw the rest away lah, pray hard your paintworks wun end up like mine though. if not you gonna regret throwing away. for mine, the tiles packaging they each take 1 piece of tile then now i cannot return the unused ones cos all open up. i have over 30pc of the same tile stuck at home dunno wan throw or not. why can't they simply try to minimize owners cost? the same thing goes for my BLUM hinges as well, i have leftover like 20 over pc. i think contractors simply dun care waste money or not since it is not their money. But if they are the ones paying, i think BLUM will become BLOM brand liao.

nah it's ok. i only got myself to blame when i thought since this contractor i got from forum, so he wouldn't anyhow do cos he depends on forum for advertisement. seems to be the exact opposite. btw, how is your place? move in liao?

fed-up right? pay money then get this kind of quality. yah that time already make them repaint 2 times liao. now peel again. super lousy workmanship. i remember someone mention about not using matex white paint somewhere in this forum. come to think of it i saw a lot of this paint during reno period. before pay money say all paint price diff not much so will give the best one. and we chose the paint ourselves. now i realise i kena dupe liao. swap the suppose best one for the lousiest one since i did not realise in time. recently i heard my kitchen glass door making weird sound when closing..... lets just hope this will not become another defect. I OFFICIALLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS CONTACTOR I USED

seriously i do not believe in any of his service anymore. promise a lot but in the end still same. no point get him and argue, then give me another lousy job for me to headache after few months.

mine turn black with 2 months..... grout lines hor, the more i go find, seems the more found.... my painting starts to peel already.....after 2 times repaint during reno period now still peel again.... :curse:

i think they made more than just a few bucks to pay for these silicons. should have used these anti fungal silicon instead. they cut cost = owners suffer now i realise my glass door is slanted, many grout lines not filled, carpentry silicon breaking up and not holding anymore....etc PEK CHEK :curse:

i am wondering why contractors still use those non anti fungal silicon at these watery areas. so troublesome to ask ppl to come redo after some time of staying in the flat. i planning to ask another contractor to one shot come up fix all those broken down places. fed up to do one by one, they seem to take turn give me problems.

you can do it too, Art friend is a good place for ideas. plaza sing have a few shops that sells scrapbooking stuff. there also a lot of things to get for designing your own clock.

just another typical contractor lah, i was in your shoes also, in the end change from Mr Nice to Mr Very-Angry-hard-to-handle managed to deduct some of the unreasonable charges here and there. learnt my lesson and no more next time from this contractor liao be it friend intro contractor or not, still do not give them face as it is usual for them to eat you up thinking you wun turn against them to save the friendship.

nope, $49.80 is for the blue centre round pc with the two needles. i just sprayed to blue, original was black. the while board is actually from IKEA as a mirror, sprayed to white. the flowers and numbers i bought from a shop at plaza sing, paste it on myself.

never like to go these shows.... cos too crowded, almost impossible to get a parking lot, usually cos of the rush and crowd - ppl tend to buy on impulse. after the shows, usually you will find retailers in sim lim square offering the same prices where you can buy in ease. i now looking at Drobo or Qnap brand network servers. still considering cos haven really find a good media player. somemore i ordered a Snakebyte HDMI selector on the way still haven test yet. need to solve the HDMI selector flickering issue before the network servers come. so many gadgets...aaahhhhhhh! going crazy with all the cables here and there liao. actually i always buy my harddisk at sim lim square, just compare around can liao. usually can match show price or the most a few bucks above. save me all the trouble to go into the crowd
