Hi, I have recently heard that the facing of a house will change in accordance to different time of the year. Say for example, when I purchase my flat in Dec, it was facing South. As earth orbits around the sun, it might be facing other directions in March/June/September. Can I check if this is true? If so, what directions will my house face all year round? All houses will get the west sun sometime in every year? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, Recent weeks, the air conditioner (lg system 3) in my master bedroom generates vibrating sound. I thought it might due for servicing as I have not done so since I bought it a year ago. The man from the service company came and immediately diagnosed that it's very dirty and requires chemical cleaning. He quoted me $160 but I turned him down. I understand that it's usually $50 for normal cleaning and new air conditioners do not require chemical cleaning. I used it 5 days a week in the night for 7 hours. Would like to check if it's really required? Is $160 a hefty price? Thanks in advance.

Hi, Apologies for the hijack. I'm also living in a 5 room resale flat, with aircons in all 3 rooms. I did researched before on installing an additional airconditioner in my living room. However, all dealers rejected my request as they claimed that I could not install 2 compressor in my 25 years old flat. It's getting hotter everyday and I don't really want to put up with that. Just gotten the flat a year ago thus selling is not really an option. Anyone with the same position before? Thanks!

Hi Experts! It's getting really warm especially as I have just shifted to the top level of my HDB 5 room flat. 3 of my rooms are already fixed with a system 3 air conditioner. I would like to fix a system 2 in my living room as well. As the system 3 in my room was fixed by Gain City, which I have bad experiences with them. Can I check which are the recommended ones in the market and where to get them? I think a non-Inverter will suffice. Also, is there a 'giant' system 1 air conditioner out in the market that could cool my living room? Thought 1 is better than getting 2? My living room is about 11.3m by 5.5m. Thanks for your help!

Hi All, Can I check how can I increase my shower pressure? Currently it's too low for shower enjoyment. Google-ed gave me some results on high pressure shower heads. Not sure if it's marketing gimmick or what? Appreciate fellow gurus to shed some light to me pls. Thanks in advance.
