jo: i also bought WMF pot from OG recently promotion and waiting for them to call me as they said they are running out of stock now and their stock will arrive from Germany in April....I also bought a WMF frying pan from CK Tang recent promotion but they are running out of stock on the pan cover and they have already ordered from Germany n will reach SG in June and I will go grab it later..... Personally i find that the quality is not bad as it is heavy n i believe their standard wont drop as you could see their price is so xxx!

Good to hear that u are signing with Edmund....so overall did he quote you below 15K which is your budget? Yes, await your pics patiently... Dont forget to give Jason a call too to do up your curtain/blinds or any frosted film...workmanship is soooooooooo good!!!!!! I'm soooooooooooo pleased with the result!

Jason workers are still doing it and guess he can fix up my curtains 2 weeks later....have you call him?

Blue: today Jason did my frosted film onto my windows n service yard door and the workmanship is really good! Really soooooooooooooo pleased with his workmanship...thanks sooooooooooo much recommending Jason to me....appreciate!!!!! My re-do parquet also very nice now...... Finally the whole renovation is completed and tomorrow Citygas coming over to fix up the gas pipe and I can start my cooking already.... Last but not least, I must thank you and the fellow RT forumers for many advices here. It is good to read comments/feedbacks here on all renovation stuff and ppl here are willing to give advices. Anyway, be it I have earlier issues/hiccups with Edmund, I must still thank him for doing my place nicely with good workmanship. Though at times his tone is harsh (could be due to highly stress up) to us but overall he still produces good result. I'm glad that my renovation has come to an end and I can move in soon though I would still need more time to find a good sofa and more furnishing later. Thanks all!

Today went up my unit and really kudo to Jason who has done up my windows and service yard door. I got him to help me do the frosted film for privacy and the workmanship is FANASTICS!! VERY GOOD!!!!!!! Jason - thanks alot!!!!!! I am soooooo pleased with the end result!

My parquet is nicely done up now! Thanks to Edmund's workers....phew! BSC done up the grouting but looks like not much changes at all...still black cement...anyway, just leave it and when we have more $$$$$$$ will overlay or hack off n changed to new tiles after 3 years.....HDB contractor workmanship is terrible!!!!!!

Did you do false ceiling? Maybe you can check with Edmund on this opennet thingy.....sian hor....i also dont know how leh...havent call Opennet yet....I wonder how the wiring will do done....i hope not so much ....

Aircon laid? Painting done? Measurement taken not? If yes, could be very fast liao....when hand over? April?

I havent see the new varnish parquet yet n most likely will do it tonight.... I guess after Edmund has done up your place, you can get them to do varnish for you...... Yes, this person need to be punished!!!!!! Is he jealous or what??????? Why is he going places to draw circles n lines???????

I managed to get HDB to do the grouting for me and hopefully they do a good job this round. I guess we cant have 100% perfect job from them but got 70-80% I guess we should be happy liao. Anyway, see how it goes......tonight found another problem - there is a tile at my common toilet that chips off and hopefully CES can rectify for me...sianzzzzzzzzzzzz....... HDB MBR toilet sink looks horrible and weird shape but we dont wish to change at this moment so use it until we have enough $$$$$$$$$$$$ then change the whole toilet or maybe upgrade to stay elsewhere...hehehheheheh...... Give Edmund a thinker as I personally feel that he is responsible at his work even though I have some issues with him but managed to resolve now. Phew! Tonight also found a scratch on my granite but going to close one eye already as I think my hob put down will hide the scratches lor.....sigh.....

Chipee, did you submit yr parquet got problem to BSC? If you didnt submit then I doubt they will do it for you...I actually submitted mine after i collect my keys and they did varnish for me. After the renov, Edmund did another round of varnish to make the place nicer but his workers didnt polish it before varnish which resulted to wrinkles. Anyway, they have polished up n done the varnish this evening when I was there. I just hope that everything turns up nicely tomorrow when HB goes up to take a look....wish me good luck on this!

To clear the confusion on varnishing...it is because Edmund workers didnt polish before they varnish which resulted to wrinkles everywhere in my bed rooms. Hence, the workers have to polish then varnish later which will become nice nice .....get me now ? Anyway, the next problem is to resolve the grouting .....guess will have to get HDB to do it or DIY ourselves.... So are you going to sign with him? Dont let my case affect your decision to sign with him....good luck!

Thanks Blue and Rasp for the good advice and let's see how I am going to move on with this....already spoke to HDB and see whether they can assist on this since their job is horrible! If not, will DIY but then our suspended cabinet already up and wonder how to do at the underneath of the cabinet...anyway, see how it goes lah......renovation really headache!!!!!!

I just got to know from HB that the workers didnt polish it earlier and they just apply another coat to it which resulted to wrinkles n more wrinkles around all the bedrooms which is no fault of us. Anyway, they are doing polishing now and will varnish later this afternoon. Well, I have never mentioned that Edmund workmanship is no good but always give credits to his carpenters on their good workmanship! It is at the end of this project that Edmund tone is being harsh and I believe he has too many projects that he cant handle/managed. Anyway, since it is coming to an end soon we will try to sort things out nicely with him. I have never blame you for recommending Edmund to me but just seek your assistance at times. Anyway, thank you!

Yes, when I see it I nearly fainted as it really looks soooooooo ugly! Anyway, Edmund finally agreed to re-do the 3 bedrooms for us to prevent future unhappiness though we can see that he is very unwillingly to do but this is no fault of us! Now I strongly believe that renovation will sure have hiccups n problems with contractors.....hopefully things will go smoothly from here onwards...enough of arguments n disputes!!!!!
