  1. Hi all, i'm back again. After 1 round of house-warming, there's lots of cleaning to be done and finally we have settled down quite nicely though there's still room for improvements. This time round, i'm posting the items that i have bought and would explain in details and feedback about those items for the benefit of those who are interested. (for electronics and some miscelleanous stuff) Some items might be just any common item that any of you guys have...but would just like to update the prices that i bought. Hope you all don't find this thread boring..haha. Stay Tuned Folks!
  2. Nice Reno Neighbour! sighz...didn't think so much about the shower rose to go through the box in and out....but luckily, my wife and me short...haha can enjoy the rain shower still. =) Good Job!
  3. hihi actually the person i've engaged is more of a contractor in my opinion since half of the ideas were from us after improvising from ideas we see from the internet. haha. Yes, we have to buy the individual items except for bathroom accessories and dish rack which were supplied by my contractor FOC which i guess is the norm? Some ID firms are giving out freebies but my guess is that the cost is already added into their package. Another thing to take note is that the ones they are giving might not be the one you wished to have unless you have no preference. Personally i prefer to buy all furniture and electronics by myself rather than having an unknown item given by friends which i might not like haha. So i just asked all my friends and relatives to give Ang Pow during housewarming...more practical haha.
  4. hihi ya we started to use already. no problem for my wife to use at all. But she's only doing light cooking like maggie mee and porridge for baby...not into heavy cooking so i don't know if my feedback about RINNAI is reliable or not since i'm not the one doing cooking. LOL...ya the fire is quite strong from what i see...but everything is OK for now ba. My parents-in-law also uses RINNAI for heavy cooking and there's no problems for her for the last decade..so i think it's quite reliable ba
  5. getting model 560 @ $650. He can only demo in his house. His explanation is quite clear cut...not a lot of sales talk...so he's quite reliable. =) hopefully this thing can help to cut down my wife's workload in the house...haha
  6. hee compassvale view? looks like the mirror image of my floor plan as well =P welcome to RT....=)
  7. haha it would be your turn soon...no worries...under singapore context....time flies very fast...=P...everyday need to work with the least public holidays....=P
  8. Going to post more photos of new things we bought for the house...haha and POST-HOUSEWARMING photos of the flat....would the all white house become YELLOW or Brown? =P Stay Tuned folks!
  9. hihi yup...got it from the person yesterday...haven try it out yet...haha
  10. Jiayou Jiayou Super SamGalz =P Just something you might want to take note. For delivery, make sure to call them 1 day before delivery on the time they would come. Reason being is that, i have about 4-5 deliveries done on the same day...but 1 or 2 companies change their timing for their deliveries at the last minute plus another company forgot about my schedule....and had to arrange another weekday to deliver the goods...luckily everything delivered was of acceptable quality...if not...have to ask them take back change and come back again.. But...come to think of it...everything should be fine for you since you are Super SamGalz..hehe
  11. paiseh paiseh...just replied to you...too busy over house-warming cum baby's birthday yesterday.
  12. haha maybe ba...but it's the same la....Lorenzo is famous for fixed prices no matter who served you...LOL very hard to haggle for prices over there unless you are buying a lot of stuff from them? =P
  13. ohh....haha paiseh...totally forgot about it as i was sick for the past few days...went home and concuss immediately. i would reply you over the weekend.
  14. congrats! =) glad you found something you like there.... =)
  15. haha no idea wor...different people we are talking about? coz i went there with a price in mind after visiting Beach Road branch....then i said i'm interested...so any discount? she say "NO" then another customer came in...she walk away and serve them...LOL
  16. lol...ya the salesgirl attitude s***....the person at beach road better....i'm a person that would go to all sorts of places to ask for price before deciding...LOL for your info for this sofa...i asked at Beach road, then saw at Expo and then lastly Changi...the reason why i bought at Changi was that the guy who served me at Expo was from there as well and i find his service not bad as well...so we bought from there since it's nearer to me than Beach Road as well. The sales girl and auntie at Changi would give attitude de...but that guy remembered me asking for price at EXPO...LOL....so i was quite amazed that he made the effort to remember his customers as well. Did you buy the full leather or half leather?
  17. Changi de branch...no discount though...zzzz...i should have bought from EXPO the other time when Lorenzo has a sale at one of the HOME DECO exhibitions...couldn't decide at that time and had to pay $100 extra for the same sofa when i buy at Changi no matter how much saliva i've used...=P
  18. hmm...you still can try asking the people in the other room around there.. that day i went there after our lunch...i was shocked to see no one in the warehouse...i was thinking...wah...so shiok...their lunch time so long...LOL...then i went to the other office on the left with people inside to ask about it...they just say we can go in by ourselves to see and the person in charge would be back a short while...LOL...so we just went in to take our own time to see see loh...
  19. yo samgalz...lunch time they close wor...around 12-1.30pm...to play safe you better go after 1.30pm because when i went there around 12.30pm...had to wait till around 1.15pm before they are back. heng...we found a eating place to makan before we went back...=P
  20. hee you are welcome....i was quite shocked when i saw their prices too..LOL...but that's only if you are looking for polyester carpets.....if you are looking for the persian carpets, think it's better to go down to little India. =P
