  1. Nice!!! Can see that things are going in place very quickly. Can do house visit soon! As for the door, yes, by right they should sandpaper before painting. My contractor didnt do that for my door frames and now there are weird stuff protruding under the new coat of paint, very unsightly. My painters did very shoddy work, never sandpaper anything before painting one. Anyway if the door rubs against the floor, then it's quite a problem. You dont want your door wearing down at the bottom, since you have to open and close your door every single day. Do take note and tell your ID about this.
  2. Looking forward to seeing your 3D pics! And post more pre-reno photos please!
  3. Thank you... I PM-ed you Darren's contact already... House is almost done with most of the furniture in... Doing rectification work at the moment... Will post up photos of the final completed work...

  5. Yah.. That's why my ID didnt even apply permit for this.... But the funny thing is when i was sourcing for IDs, some said that it is illegal to bring the basin out... Lots of myths & whats right and whats wrong in the industry, I also dont know who to believe...
  6. The space extended out is about 1.7m by 0.9m....
  7. I engaged the electrician from Plush Living to do up the electrical... Havent move in and still too early to tell whether there are any problems... Currently, during our visit to the house, all the lights that we switched on turns on... (Havent test all the power points with full load of electricity running yet).
  8. Almost all my lights are bought from lightings.com.sg including this one.. They have 2 shops at Balestier Road and Jalan Besar Road... It costs $40...
  9. I mentioned about the HDB permit to my ID and he said it is legal.. So, i assumed it is ok... He did apply permit to hack away a wall to create an entrance between the Guest Room and the Common Toilet though, but that was not approved...
  10. Oh is it? Your glass must be very well polished.. haa.. My glass door is quite visible...
  11. Carpentry Almost Done Kitchen Entrance - Sliding Glass Door Richard was worried that the sliding door (only 75cm) will be too small to our liking.. After taking a look, we felt that it looks ok... Also, due to the ugly tracks of the sliding door, we will be building a pelmet to hide the tracks so it looks nicer...
  12. Carpentry Almost Completed Kitchen Cabinet The Undermount sink... We like the 2 big drawers on the left.. It can fit in alot of pots and pans... What's missing is the breakfast counter...
  13. Carpentry Almost Completed Master Toilet The extended Master Toilet... Fixed glass panel and a glass door... The shower screen.. Apparently there is something wrong with this so they have to get it changed... Kitchen Box Up Pipes This is where we can put our mops, brooms, etc... and i wonder if we can fit a ladder inside too.. haa.
  14. Carpentry Almost Completed Walk-in Wardrobe (Interior)
  15. Carpentry Almost Done Walk-in Wardrobe Frosted glass door to the Walk-in Wardrobe... The Wardrobe looks a bit small.. Hope we have enough space to put all our clothes... Dressing Table The dressing table with a big piece of mirror yet to be built... Wife also dont like the pull down drawer on the right... So, we have to ask Richard to get it changed...
