Sat is "dong tu" for me, shopping for lightings and ordering the tiles

you mean the materials used in the rug? i didnt ask actually. ha! but it felt gd! oo... i heard Ikea's rug can be quite lousy - fray very easily. for 179, you are better spending jus about a 100 to get a rug from here. but then again, is my first time buying it also.. so hard to say the quality of it

yea.. wil use tis particular 3 x 6 tile to do up the feature wall in the common bath. hope it turns out well ya, i think is one of those shops. wife commented that is getting more and more popular for bridesmaids' dresses. hai, in the end, realised sia huat not opened on sunday. so skipped CCM as well. will make another trip tomorrow for both. wa, so lucky! am really a sucker for WMF though I have never used them before! haha u're asking me about the knife block or the cutleries? knife block with plastic insert and cutleries all ard 100 each i think. can't remember cause it was robinson's sale and i was using vouchers, so all **** break loose with the shopping how shall i put it? SBH has the biggest collection at toh guan. but ID and I concur, they have huge but ordinary tiles. Hafary has modest but more outstanding design tiles IMHO la

so yea, saturday was event filled and I must say it was so very very productive till it got my brain hyped till now. let me do this update as fast-paced and results-oriented like how tis saturday was being played out woke up at 8 am in the morning, washed up and drove to wife's place. before going up her place, bought bao so that my wife and i can eat all the way to id's office bao's picture is strictly for your visual illustration only. not actual bao that we bought and ate suppose to meet 9, but we reached 9.30 instead. id was already waiting for us eagerly at his office at leng kee almost a friend to us by now, told him straight in his face that i need to trim the total reno amt. discussed, discussed, discussed 1. living room feature to trim shorter. trimmed area id cleverly replaced with a display shelf 2. got him to throw in blum soft closing on cabinets in living room 3. no fridge and washine machine base. 4. no boxing up in common toilet - 1.2k saved 5. overlay wall tiles in both toilets 6. WIW to overhaul 7. confirmation of all 3d drawings by when 8. wait for amended final quote done 11 am, quick lunch and drove down straight to tai seng st to lifestorey 12.26 pm. sofa and cushion fabric confirmed 12.31 pm id cannot believe the rugs are sold so cheaply here 12.40 pm living room rug bought and rolled out for checks before payment 12.53 was so apprehensive that the rug can't make it inside the puny car. don't care how it works, so long as it works. next stop, the tiles! TO HAFARY!

hey there... must be the caffine at work. is coming 3 in the morning and my brain is still active. largely also due to my very very eventful saturday. saw yr sketchup previously but 3d pictures really speak a thousand words. took time to really digest your drawings, so hope you don't mind i take the initiative to share my views since you hope to hear comments disclaimer ah: strictly my most IMHO only ya. 1. yrs is a 5 rm flat, so that gives you ample floor space. and i believe if you have it, flaunt it. 2. where you are proposing yr study / relax corner now, I would consider to have my dining table there with the wall hacked down instead of with a glass 3. where you are proposing yr dining area now, i would suggest bring down further the half wall/half glass divider i.e you have a huge open kitchen feel entrance. then that would be yr study or relax corner. ideally a bench can rest nicely on the half wall by creating this, perspective wise is really really much enhanced - from entering your house looking over to where i propose yr dining table is would give a very opulence feeling. you can opt for a bigger and grander dining table with 4 sides all able to sit ppl and backed by a huge wall that can really be another stunning feature wall. the half wall with glass looking into the kitchen like what you want plus the bigger open kitchen feel entrance created now will more "depth" and visually much bigger feel kitchen wise... 1. i opt for linear set-up 2. low cabinets to start off i.e looking through your half wall with glass won't be greeted by cabinets straight away 3. tall units and fridge further down bloody cool idea to have the vanity top pulled out from the actual toilet itself. i can imagine how much bigger the toilet is now. i go half wall half glass. otherwise if full glass right, from yr bed, u can see the side of the solid top and the cabinets. also, the half wall must catch the level of the bottom mirror.. like tat more balance but then hor.. yr floor is parquet / laminate floor? jus make sure the water after washing up is not on the floor. scare spoil it over time disclaimer again ya: strictly my most IMHO only hor. hope it helps!
