    For the past week, I found litter such as cigarette butts, ice cream sticks, ice cream wrappers, sweet wrappers outside my main door. I also found cigarette butts inside my shoe, my family's shoes as well. Obviously the culprits did this on purpose.

    we suspect it could be the teenagers living on the same level as us. I was home one day & I heard the teenagers playing very loudly. I went outside to throw rubbish, I saw them eating & smoking near the staircase next to my unit. after awhile, they left & they also left the cigarette butts & food wrappers there.

    Last night when we reached home, I saw sweet wrappers left inside my gate (in between my main door & gate). someone had left the sweet wrappers there on purpose.

    I had complaint to town council. they said they will get their ground staff to monitor my area but for cigarette butts, they advise me to call NEA if I saw the teenagers smoking at my area.

    Problem is, we are working & only be home at night. How to catch those culprits in action. Its very annoying to come home every night & see rubbish inside my gate & around my unit especially on my family shoes!

    First purchase for someone who has no keys yet...

    Decided to make use of our manhattan cards in cashback savings.

    Signed up with Gain City for Starmex System 3 for Bedroom 2, 3 and Living Room + inverter single split for MBR.

    Gain City's current promotion is free 1+4 yr warranty for aircons instead of $200 GC voucher.

    Price fluctuates with the weather. So homeowners may want to sign up before the usual rush for aircons in the next 1-2 months...

    my living room windows are 3quarter length. Currently using full length day & night curtains. as i am doing a makeover for my living room, am thinking should i change the curtains to 3 quarter length instead of full length. Or should i change to wooden blinds? Advices appreciated.

    any curtain guy to recommend? since i might only be changing the curtains for living room, some shops might not entertain.

    i bought my evita sofa from celini in march2010. but now the sofa seat has shrunk down, i almost wanted to get extra sofa covers, tink no need liao, use until yr end den will chuck this sofa away.

    btw, when i asked the delivery guys to dispose my sofa, this malay guy told me celini charged $100 to dispose old sofa, duno true anot, but i still gave him cos need to throw the old sofa away.

    I think its crestar. It cost ard $220 w/ lights. I used it b4 from my parent place for 3 years, & so far no complaints. I usually switch on 2 out of 3 lights @ night cuz its more than enuff to light up da room. Bought it from lightings.com.sg but they no longer sellin it cuz they sell below the req dealer price. But other shop definitely sellin it, but maybe ard $250-$280 range.

    i went to crestar webby but cant find yr fan with the lights. do u ve the model no.?

    Children room. We hacked away the old cabinet and added a loft bed. We did not like the normal double decker style as I find sleeping on the lower deck very oppressive. I think this arrangement is better for the person sleeping below. And the bed on top is currently a "guest" bed since we only have one kid.

    Hi, the doubledeck bed is very nice! Was it custom-made? i like to get 1 for my kids too. how much did it cost?

    I bought mine from Sliver river @ $299 before GST...

    The mounting is the hang on type meaning the console comes with a bracket that you screw on the back of your Tv then you just hang it on the stand (sliver colour) of the console...

    not sure whether the stock still available or not...go check out at their showroom...

    after removing fabric covers for washing..anyone has problem putting it back???

    I heard horror stories of unable to put back the cover after washing

    i bought my fabric sofa from seahorse Hecom in 2006. as there wasnt much colors to choose from, i chose a dark & light color covers.

    unfortunately 1 of the dark color cover zip practically snap when i tried to change the cover & the light color cover(beige color with some brown lines) seems to 'look' abit dirty even though i had wash it every mthly.

    i wanted to go back to seahorse to do new covers for the sofa but my hubby said might as well buy a new sofa next year cos we found out the interior sponge also started to turn yellow.

    i doubt i will go back to seahorse to buy fabric sofa.

    im part of the organising committee for my company D&D in december. but due to budget, my boss dont wan to engage event company to host D&D. he wants us to brainstorm & DIY ourselves...

    as this is my 1st time organising company D&D, i want to check with everyone here,

    1) what sort of games do u all play during D&D?

    2) yr company past D&D theme?

    3) Door gifts?

    4) where can accommodate at least 70pax?
