  1. more updates: tiles that we chose! We chose 800mm tiles for the living room - Roy has reassured us that it would not be warped as he is using good workers.. we didn't realise at that time what he meant was that he is using Malaysian workers =P I've heard that generally Malaysian workers have better skills than most workers and my husband even feedback that they were taking the initiative to suggest better ways to do stuff =D so that is one plus point for my contractor and his team! hoping that that plus point will get the tiles all laid properly and nicely.. tip here: remember to ask your contractor to give you colored grout for the tiles! =D some do not provide if you do not ask =D
  2. nice! a bit worried now cox we din consider the origin of the tile when we chose the tile.. we just chose them based on what we like o.o i suppose it is less headache (since there is one less thing to consider) but this also means potential disaster.. crossing fingers that it'd all be fine =D (warping should be minimised as my contractor is using Malaysian workers (they are better skilled than Bangladeshi workers!) and - same here! don't know why contractors all have problems with 3D 0.o so will your 3D be ready soon? want to see!! =) in the end I guess 3D might not really help as well.. i suspect that the final design will differ from the 3D since we might choose different laminates and colours over the proposed ones by the designer o.o
  3. Hi Aristotle! Need also to check with you - can share where you got your fan from and at what price? love it! Thanks! Sarah
  4. hello! where did you get your black haiku fan? looks nice! =D sarah
  5. hello! please quote me for black haiku fan (shorter mount) for hdb use! btw, what is the dimensions of the black haiku shorter dimension fan? and what are the payment terms? thanks! sarah
  6. Hi! Do you sell black haiku fan? or know where to get it? can i use it in hdb? please pm me! thanks!! sarah
  7. I remember being wowed when I first laid eyes on sycamore - but the owner was complaining that the sycamore fan didn't generate enough wind - it was your review that made me think hard (though I must admit I was easily swayed in this matter as I did want someone to convince me that the sycamore was good cox i really like the design). Me and my SO are people who can sleep at loew fan speeds..so I suppose the sycamore fan would be good enough for us? now it's just the price that's stopping us.. Really appreciate the black haiku recommendation! The design of the fan seems somewhat similar to the feel that the sycamore fan has (save for the additional blade).. and it's great to know that the price is half of sycamore's - definitely something to consider even though i'm still in love with the sycamore fan.. would you know where the black haiku is sold? gotta see it!
  8. Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to get it.. I almost fainted when I called up to check the price... >.< looking forward to the completed pictures!
