My kitchen layout is similar to yours with 3 panels of windows. And I still install a white roller blind. Like you say, privacy. Haha! Most of the time, I roll down half only. After 4 years, so far so good. Not very oily. Probably my hood is very good. So overall my kitchen is not dirty etc. But I think installing frosted film is good option too. Minimal maintenance, no need to wash blinds
