  1. Hi Tapilia, thank you for the useful info. i'll go back & measure, whether the left hand side wardrobe can fit the hanger if less deeper by 3inch. Hi Shawncck, yup.. i know it's normal. this is my very first home, that's why i put in all the effort to make it look great. when people give "no-good" comment, i will feel little bit down By the way, i should further explain here about the friend who commented my wardrobe... i brought 2 friends W & L to my house. W is the one who knows little bit of carpentry works as his brother is a carpentry subcon in s'pore. i wanted them to help me "spot" any other thing that i need to get my designer to improve as i've seen too much until i can't tell anymore when W saw my wardrobe and heard how i not satisfied with the wardrobe. W just consoled me, "not bad la, if you can't accept this, you must inform the designer", he also told me it's very common for hdb flat but it's also depends on the subcon. while my the other friend, L, just told me she doesn't like it when i decided to tell my designer to correct it, then L told me secretly that W's comment for the work is NO GOOD! but W doesn't want to make me sad, he just tell all the good things to consoled me. why L reveal the secret? it's because L found that since i will get the designer to correct it, then might as well tell me the rest of the part that needs to be improved... they are kind friends, mean no harm, not criticize my designer/carpenter, but hide the truth from me, just to make me happier... i didn't go for W's bro carpentry service, it's because my reno package. but i personally felt that the quality of the carpentry work, is really no good... maybe i should take some photos to show all of you...
  2. Hi Kobelala, it's certainly the wall problem... just now try to take photo with my phone but it has no 'wide angle lens' maybe tomorrow night, after work Hi Neubie & JX83, i know it's normal, but if they inform me before the installation, the outcome will be different... i brought one of my friends, who knows carpentry, to my house and show him all the carpentry works, his comment = NO GOOD!!! i felt like he said it should be parallel... so it's won;t affect the 美感... he said if all the wall is slant, does it mean all the custom made carpentry go slant also? i found his point is right... whatever it is, i will fight for the 'STRAIGHT'
  3. Hi Kobelala, i will try to take photo & post it later... perhaps with the below photo, you may have better understanding Hi Potatoes & Strikingreality, I seek advice from few friends, all of them said this can be done! but it might affect the internal... which i think i can afford it... the very important point is, before the sub-con install the wardrobe, they should come to us & tell us the wardrobe will be slated because of the wall. then it's up to us to decide whether to leave it slant or make it straight... but they NEVER... i will talk to the "designer" and i will insist to make it STRAIGHT!!! or else, i don't PAY
  4. dear all, my house reno works almost completed but i found out a serious problem, my wardrobe not in parallel line! i told my designer & the carpenter the problem, but both of them said they can't do anything as it's my WALL problem... i'm so confused and i don't know who & what is right... my wardrobe - right hand side measure to the nearest tile my wardrobe - left hand side measure to the nearest tile and this photo shows - DIFFERENCE OF 2.5 INCHES is this true that they can't do anything with it? i can't accept their explanation! it's a custom made wardrobe but totally not fit at all, and it's affect our visual! WHAT A DESIGNER WORK!
