dat time my place also super noisy, but my neighbours are close-door policy.. so i guess noisy or quiet they also hack care. no one complained to mi also. my door open big big somemore. hmm, i tink they sure got a way to remove the stains in the toilet n WC. mine got more than 30pcs of crack tiles n they still have the sames tiles to replace every single piece. same for the WC, dunno how they managed to removed the stupid stain away, anyway i still changed the WCs coz i dun like the colours given. oh, the pang giap guy ar.. dat time came to my mum place more than an hour late. but when he came to my place was punctual.. but the reply for my price enquiry of a certain design was real slow until i told the customer service guy who followed up with mi dat i need time to tink. i make them call mi several times den told them i dun need their service. i beri bad hor. coz my ID either matched or gave mi a lower price for the same things quoted by pang giap. how com u wan the bedroom doors to open out towards the passageway? wat if both MBR n bedroom 2 doors open at the same time, it'll knock against each other since they are just beside of each other mah.. i oni changed my bedroom doors to solid veneer with lever handle, a whooping $380 each. no need to change door frame.

hi applefreak, mi spent the whole morning until 2pm at my nest. the painter came to touch up the MBR wall, HHS feature wall and balcony box up. i'm finally satisfied with the reno liao, not sure if my hubby feels the same. hopefully can officially handover next week aft my hubby go n do a final checking. gonna need a few weeks to clean up the place and buy the prayer altar. when u r targeting to move in ur place?? compassvale, can i join for the unit tour? *blush*

hmm, wrought iron is more expensive than aluminium. tink may cost $2k or more to custom-made ba.. so good u got friendly neighbours, not like mine... close-down policy one. so far oni my opp. door neighbour's youngest daughter will say hello when she sees mi.

aiyo, dun like dat say lah... u got bf rite? if really can't find the alumesh grille, maybe u compromise on the grilles lor... otherwise will affect the reno progress leh. today my nest doing final washing coz last sat the carpenters and painters were doing final touch-up. but i checked and found the painters missing out some areas nv touch-up or nv do a good job. haf feedback to my ID and ask him to get the painters to com again tis sat to do the touching up of the painting works. i'll supervise them. SP Service also coming to turn on the gas. i haf just signed up with Cisco on there SafaHomePlus package, $52.45/mth for 3yrs. shall haf it install within tis 2 weeks, but muz first get the tel line connected. we not gonna move in until jul/aug (b4 lunar 7th mth), so better put security system. dunno izit i kiasu+kiasi.. the whole 3rd storey of my block, nobody installed security system except mi.

i know the condo at sengkang mrt has.. dun tink hdb will haf tis type of carparks ba.. my wedding preparation 7788 liao... oni waiting to haf the bridal shoot, official parents meeting, printing invites and haf the 'guo da li'.. finally the tea ceremony+banquet. tink now quite common for some ladies to take wedding photo even if they nv get married.

i find it quite small leh, coz dun seem to able to hang much clothes. the length of the bamboo pole will be quite short.

i tot still got alot of EA units available at our cluster of blocks. so fast no chinese quota liao? mine was the first unit in the cluster of blocks to be booked, i nearly tot nobody wants to buy there coz i wait so long b4 someone also booked a unit. the last time i checked (tink in feb), abt 35units has been taken up. was looking at my opp block fm my balcony, out of the 16 units of EA facing my side.. oni 3 units has been taken up and got people staying. the rest all empty. fyi, the yard is quite small.

applefreak, thur channel 8 got variety show called 'thriftking' (the title is something like dat la). one couple did wrought iron grilles n gate for the whole house at oni $1600 the whole episode tells u where to get nice furniture at cheaper price. u can download n watch the episode no.5 from MOBTV.

compassvale, i agree the kitchen is beri un-HDB like coz of the 2 entrances. it's one of the main reasons we selected tis cluster i/o anchorvale.

yes, problem solved. the lights were changed dat beri nite. lights are all up now, but another problem again. when i tried to on all the living+dining+study+balcony lights at the same time, the power will trip for these areas. it tripped last nite, tried again twice today and it trip again within 5mins. haf called ID who'll ask electrician to come down n check. also will get designer lightings (where i bought the lights) to check tis sat. den tink the electrician nv put up my kitchen lights cover properly, both dropped down either last nite or tis morning. heng, it's plastic. can't imagine if it was glass.

alamak, y like dat. aniway, i also got a problem. tml the electrician is coming over to install the lights, so i scheduled the lights to deliver tis aftn. juz received a call from the lighting shop dat their delivery guy delivered someone else order to mi and vice versa. the delivery guy also gave the wrong invoice to my contractor's carpenter to check again the order. no wonder they nv realised they received the wrong order also. already told lighting shop die die tonite or tml early morning muz deliver my order to mi.

went ikea today and checked on their soft close system. the SA told mi their mechanism is designed by Blum, but oni a cheaper version which can hold max 25kg. she took out the clasp at the side of the extending drawer i was looking at and flip is around to how me. it was Blum indeed, saw the word embossed on the back of the clasp.
